Welcome to Rockridge!

Rockridge: enjoy unobstructed panoramic views of the majestic Monashee Mountains from nearly every room in this luxury slope side chalet. Conveniently located in Rock Ridges Estates right on Hummingbird ski run and just 150 metres from Big White Village, the home boasts 4 bedrooms in 2240 square feet. built in the Arts and Crafts style this is truly a beautiful property.

You will be enchanted by the well stocked kitchen, the 200 year old wood floors, the hand pounded iron railings and the sumptuous linens. The estate offers more than enough room for 10 adults to sleep eat and relax in comfort and style. And the location is quite simply impossible to beat.

This 4 bedroom house has exceptional views and direct ski in and ski out access. Located on Rockridge Road, a cul de sac, Rockridge is only a 2-3 minutes walk to the village. A lock up undercover garage for one car with room out the front for 2 additional cars. On the main level is the kitchen, dining room and main living area. Up one level are two bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms. The master ensuite has a steam shower. On the lower level, there are two further bedrooms with a share bathroom. There is also a second living area, ideal for kids getaway as there is a second TV with Sony playstations and loads of games. On this level there is a large drying room with laundry, washing machine and dryer.

Ski Access: ski directly to your back door from Woodcutter run. To get to the run, it is a 20 metre walk either out the back door or from the front door. There is ski storage at both back door and front door.

Summer Access: Fly screens on windows, garage for bike storage, amazing view, balcony upstairs to relax whilst absorbing the views and sipping on a glass of wine. There is also a BBQ for use on the balcony off the dining room.

The house was terrific with four spacious bedrooms and two separate living areas. The views from the hot tub were incredible and watching the sunset whilst relaxing after a hard day of skiing was unbeatable. The ski run is just outside the back door, pop your skis on and off you go! The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen in a rental property and there were plenty of games for the kids! Loved it!
This place was wonderful. Very nice and clean home. The ski in ski out was perfect! Lots of space for me and my friends, the hottub was big. It had everything we needed. I would be happy to stay here again! :)

Great Place
We stayed with 2 families of 4 and the house easily accommodated us with the two living areas and multiple sleeping options. It had a better equipped kitchen then you find at most rentals and the oversized laundry was fantastic for hanging up all the ski jackets, pants and boots, helmets, etc. Property manager reached out proactively prior to arrival and was very responsive. We look forward to staying here again.

Had a great week at Big White staying in this space. Beautiful layout, lots of space, and a top notch location providing easy ski in and ski out access to runs as well as being in walking distance to the village. Highly recommend.

Unbeatable Location
Best "ski in ski out" experience I've had to date. Total walk is maybe 50 feet from door to slope and you can ski right to the door. Excellent gear room, good hot tub, excellent views, great value for the money. Place is a BIT smaller than it seems and you share a wall which isn't obvious from the images. Kitchen is well stocked but lacks large pans, measuring cups, and other random things... Everything else is top notch! Host is friendly and helpful.

Best place on the mountain!
This our second time staying at this amazing property. We absolutely loved it. It is in a great location, easy walk to the village, and on the Woodcutter ski run to three chair lifts. The beds a super comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and it is very warm. The views must be some of the best on the mountain. We spent every afternoon in the hot tub soaking up the beautiful mountain views. The drying room is great to dry all your ski gear overnight. I highly recommend staying here.

Awesome Big White Adventure
After almost 20 stays at Big White, we finally found the one that we would consider buying. This is a great space for a family, amazing views and very easy access to the slopes. The house was stocked with all the necessary items, all we needed to add was fresh food and we snuggled in for a great 9 days.

Amazing views & location
We had an amazing 3 weeks with our 3 young children 17months- 5 years. Due to its size, it was great to have the extra space for the kids on days they didn’t to go to ski school day care. Beds were comfortable, views were spectacular and the house had a lovely cosy feel. A few of our older less mobile babysitters found the walk up to the village a little steeper / tiring than they were comfortable with, but it was fine for us and our kids. We returned our car after a few days because we just didn’t need it. It was super convenient being on woodcutter run (especially with the school valet service ). Allison the property manager was helpful and easy to communicate with.

Awesome Place!
Check-in was great, Allison was super helpful with information and getting us in a bit early! Place was fabulous, good location and condo was in good shape. My only complaint is the induction stove and small fry pans! We were a group of 10 and we know how poorly stocked VRBO kitchens are so we always bring our own larger pans so we can cook for a larger group - sadly our pans wouldn't work with the stove. Please get larger pans if you advertise for 10 persons! Thanks, would stay there again. Dan

From the time we booked to the time we left Alison the caretaker was so accommodating the owners are so lucky to have someone that cares about the property and guests so much. We were a family of 10 and everything went smooth the unit was clean and the ski in ski out conditions was great. It is a great unit and close to the village for all activities.

100% would rent again!
Chalet was fantastic. I have never been to a rental property that was so well stocked (tons of spices even!). The beds were so comfortable, the master bathroom shower was wonderful, hot tub spotless and could not beat the location to the village and Woodcutters Run. Only smidge of a star I took off was because when we rented the pictures showed that there were 2 twins in one room and before we arrived there was now new Queen bed with a twin loft above it replacing them. We all agreed we would've rather had a twin each, but understand maybe better for families with small children? But otherwise, Allison was incredibly helpful and sooo quick to respond. Loved the Nespresso coffee maker, heated floors, new carpet and boot warmer! Thanks Anna & Allison.

Don’t wait…BOOK!
This place was spectacular! Proximity to the village, ski in/out, hot tub, space and there was even treats waiting for us! There were 4 adults and 3 teens; we all had more than enough space. Wi-Fi was a little issue when we got there but property manager was quick to help. A true 5 star place!

Spring break getaway
This was a wonderful place to spend family time during spring break. It is a beautiful home, tastefully decorated with well-appointed kitchen and cozy linens. The ski-in ski-out is phenomenal, and walking proximity to the village a real asset. Additionally, we lucked out and had great snow conditions. I would definitely consider renting this place again!

Winter break 2022
Anna's place was great for our week-long ski trip. We have been going to Big White for over 10 years, and this was the best ski-in/out access we've had. It was super convenient to access the main lifts and stop in for a quick warm up when the temperature was below 0. The house was clean and as described. As other's have noted, the split of the rooms/bathrooms was the only drawback for our group of 2 families with teens because the 2 upstairs bathrooms are en suite and we had one on the lower level to share with kids and adults. A half-bath on the main floor would have made it perfect.

Perfect Family Chalet
Anna, the host, was extremely responsive and accomodating. The property, which was right off Woodcutters, was perfectly located for easy access to both ski runs and the village. When we weren't skiing, the kids enjoyed creating their own toboggan runs while the adults soaked in the private hot tub. We also found time to play board games from a well-stocked cupboard. We were 4 kids and 6 adults and the layout and amenities (well-stocked kitchen) of the property served us very well. We hope to return very soon!
