San Marco Bedonia needs a make-over or a demolishing team! It is overpriced and overrated!
The best thing about Bedonia is Pizzeria Speedy and the great architect Emanuele Mazzadi.
We slept here several times, we always see new faces at the desk, we always see the same old rooms, broken cabinets, torn shower curtains which are not wide enough so you have water on one side or the other.
The shutters are see through, so the room won't get dark.
The matrasses were new in 1975 but it kills your back, there is mold in every bathroom we have seen so far.
There is no attention for you as a guest unless you are at the checkin or checkout and when you talk to someone during breakfast (which is good) but once they have served you, they are gone and you have to get up and search the hotel to get another cup of tea.
Everything in San Marco is low, except for the price.
It may be the only hotel in Bedonia, but I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND to stay in another village nearby or find a B&B and don't forget to visit the tasty and fabulous Speedy.
Luckily it was our last time in San Marco, it was a burden during our travels.
We are sorry to say goodbye to Bedonia, but we are happy not to stay again in San Marco Bedonia!
