Hotel located 5 min walk to the forbidden city with lots of eateries. 10 min walk to famous Wangfujing Shopping malls. Great hotel for those who enjoys historical and shopping.

The location of this hotel is pretty good - it's close to the Forbidden City (20 to 30 minutes walk). Generally it's a historical and very mature hotel - nothing fancy. The room was clean but only had the inside view of the restaurant. Staff was reasonably friendly. The areas around is very safe and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Subway is about 10-15 minutes walk.

OK. Staff were helpful and everything was clean and well managed. Great location for Wunfujing Street, Metro and Forbidden City but the hotel is quite old and tired.

The hotel is located in a convenient location near the Palace Museum. However, traffic control in its neighborhood made it difficult to hail a cab or drive around. The staff was very helpful during my stay.

Very adequate accomodation with a great location and good selection for breakfast at the buffet. We loved being able to walk into shops etc and staff were helpful using an app to translate if needed.

Good location of hotel but a letdown in service.

Some rooms had lingering smell of smoking and even after they ran a device to help deodorise the rooms, the smell was back soon after. The hotel staff also refused to let us store our luggage after we checked out to visit Gubei Watertown for a couple of days.

Good hotel, wrong information

There is information on Hotels.com that is NOT correct about this hotel. It does have a front desk and it’s 24hour. You do not need to contact the hotel prior to check in. There are TWO hotels with the similar name. Make sure you go to the Jade GARDEN hotel. Otherwise a good hotel in great location. Would stay here again

Beautiful hotel, clean, quiet, great location. The staff didn’t notify me of Beijing closing down the city to train for a military parade, so I was stuck on the other side of town with no way to return to the hotel one night. I told them about my situation the following day and they laughed rather than seeming concerned.
