Not up to the standards of a 5-star hotel

It's my first business trip to Beijing. After seeing the prices of the rooms, I already knew I couldn't expect it to be like other 5-star hotels I've stayed in. Still, this one fell short of expectations. The disappointment started when we checked in. There was barely any eye contact from the gentleman, not to mention a smile that one would normally expect from someone working in the hospitality industry. We raised a few questions and requests, none of which was given a positive response to. In fact, all the front desk staff we met during our stay was the same. They wouldn't take the initiative to find ways to make their guests stay more comfortable. The most welcoming staff was the one for housekeeping. He always greeted me with a big smile and asked politely if he could clean my room. I stayed in a Grand Deluxe King Room. The room is spacious but the condition is appalling. There are many cracks and scratches, and you can see signs of water leakage here and there. Two lights in my room were not working properly but I couldn't ask for a change of room as they're all fully booked. We went to their lobby bar one night just to find that many of the drinks on their menu were not available, and they only had 1 choice of red wine and 1 choice of white wine. We didn't go back to any of their restaurants afterwards. Facility-wise, both their gym and pool were closed for maintenance. Overall, I'd say all the 4-star hotels I stayed in for business trips are better than this one.

Definitely not a five star hotel. The service is not good, the reception was not friendly at all. The room is old, not in good condition.

We stayed for two weeks November 2023 and we stayed in the executive suite and it was perfect for us. It was clean, quiet and the service was amazing! If you plan to stay for more than a few days i highly recommend the executive suite (worth it). There is a lounge with complimentary breakfast, snacks/dessert and coffee. It was really comfortable.

Buon hotel, ampio buffet per colazione e cena. Comodo con la metro, fermata babaosh, linea 1, senza cambi fino a tienamen, wangfujin, etc. Carrefour e wanda centro commerciale a 20 metri. Prezzo un pò sopra la media ma comunque adeguato alla qualità.

The priperty is classy and well kept. The buffet for breakfast was very good. Coffee was lacking in room. The tea bage coffee version produces very weak coffee. AC unit had the room temperature set at 25 c and often climbed to 30c. Uncomfortable when its that hot and the windows are locked so not able to open to get releif from the heat.
