Worthless service
Publié le 25 août 2016 sur HotelsService absolutely worthless. I had booked a room for me and my girlfriend which my booking said. Upon my arrival, the boy at the desk told me that I had booked a single-room and had to pay 20$ extra per night for my guest. I asked him which guest since my booking included 2 adults, and then he said that I could upgrade my room to another room for 20$/night and that I would be upgraded to a sea-view room the next day because of the inconvenience. I payed the 60$ extra (for 3 night), and we got our first room that was nice.
Next day, I went down to the reception to find the same guy sitting, and made sure that we understood each other correctly (we both spoke lebanese). Yes, I would be upgraded to a room with sea-view but I had to come after the check-in time which was 15.00.
I returned the same day at 17.00 and sitting there was his colleague. He didn't have any clue about me being upgraded, he said that there wasn't any rooms available anyway that would be counted as an "upgrade". So, me and my girlfriend had packed all our things and was ready to change hotel room - all for nothing. Since we only had booked 3 nights, it was a mess to pack up all our things, pack them down again, to later return to the same room.
I am really tired of amateur hotels trying to be modern. If you can't handle a modern system, then don't sign up to it.
Free Wi-fi available but it works 1/10 times because of the slow speed. Free parking under the building is positive.

Peaceful hotel in beautiful surroundings.

Pour : The staff were pleasant, it was in a good location very close to the teleferique. I found it was within easy walking distance of the shops.
Contre : The plumbing does not appear to be very good. The toilet seemed to drip all night. Also the pool was not available because it was winter.
Emplacement : It is near the teleferique so I had easy access to the Our Lady of Lebanon statue, also near the shops and only about 1 hour away from Beirut.
After recovering from the surprise of discovering I had booked the hotel on a 'pay at the hotel' basis. I enjoyed my visit here. The staff were polite and friendly. The traditional breakfast provided was elegantly served and tasted nice. Check out was no problem. The room was large and airy, the king-size bed was much better than expected and it had a balcony with views of gardens, mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. I found it very relaxing.

Contre : Price price price not Mach online at all
Emplacement : A lot of activities : near the beach , casino , restaurant , teal freaq etc......
Price not matching online price at all they will increase booking price on you for any reason ,
Expensive for the quality
You can find at least half the price cheaper plus what ever price you get online
They will not accepted they will charge you at least double the price .
