Belfair Motel - A little Gem!

The room was smaller than new hotels but the motel makes up for it in attention to every detail. The decor was lovely and well coordinated, loved the navy blue sheets, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was equipped with a great little frig with freezer which would be great for longer stays. Appreciated the Keurig and the French Roast coffee pods! Bathroom was small but great water pressure, plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. It was quite chilly when we were there and the in-wall heater worked perfectly, the unit looked fairly new. Property was very quiet and parking lot well lit. Would definitely stay there again.

We were moving and needed a place to crash for the night. I had only planned to have one bed for myself, then my kid and my ex came to help, so I needed to upgrade my room. The staff were so kind and accommodating (as they still had a larger room available).

The motel was an older building that was fully renovated. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was big. The only problem was the limited space to walk the dog.

It was listed as "pet friendly", but an extra $20.00 per night is NOT "pet friendly". We flew in from Dallas with a small, well-trained dog, picked-up all of his poopies, and $20.00 per day is just ridiculous. (I will not trust Expedia's listings in the future.) They also charged us for 7 nights, and we stayed 6 nights and were out of there around 9 am on the last day. The AC unit was as loud as an F-16 landing on a carrier, and although the weather was cool, the humidity and non-functioning fan in the bathroom made the AC necessary, especially after showering. We were visiting family and we weren't looking for a 5-star hotel experience, but the sneaky pet fee, being charged for an extra night, and the incredibly loud AC unit were just too much. We won't stay at the Belfair Motel again.
