Very Clean

This property was very clean. It did lack touches that would of helped us settle in. (Like no paper towels, hand towels, matches to light the stove, only 4 bath towels available, etc). It has limited furnishings- basically you can tell it is used as a rental for income. The neighborhood was fine, nice next door neighbors. The house overall was a good stay, just lacked some personal touches found by renting from the owner vs a rental company. Communication with rental company was good, we just happened to have some hiccups with our stay. Overall it was a nice, CLEAN place to land for a few nights before we flew out.

Great neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed the location and safety of the neighborhood. The home was beautiful. The inside was a little dirty. Stains and spills on the walls. Dirty floors. No dish rack to wash dishes. Kitchen very poorly stocked. Bath towels only. No dish washer. The clothes washer was off balance and we had to check each load multiple times. Not to mention we never once could get full hot water. The home has a good shell, just needs a little love.

Home Away From Home: Peaceful and Relaxing

Overall, the entire check-in and out process was seamless. My overall stay was peaceful and relaxing; exactly what I needed. The house was very spacious; staff members were friendly and responded quickly to my questions and provided immediate solutions. Recommendations/Observations: A) Provide a small manual that welcomes your guests and provide an overview of the house i.e location of washer & dryer, shops, AC rules etc B) When stocking the house with supplies (toilet paper, paper tissue, garbage bags), factor the number of guests and the length of stay. C) For guests spending more than three days; how should they handle garbage overflow. The garbage can in the yard was filled when we arrived; by the end of our stay, the can was overflowing. Due to location of the house, that is not wise to keep excess garbage in the yard.

The overall stay was fine but not having acontrol over the air conditioning setting was a problem .

Overall renting of the property was very good except for the temperature inside we should have access to the remote to turn off the air conditioning.

Stay away

The mgr Raul is rude& difficult. Run they have termites(will say flood flies) place did have tons of space, and was clean. Broken chairs, only 1 air bed works. 4 towels for 10guest. Location doesn’t show up on google. Locals doesn’t know where it is located. Took almost 6hrs to get in & find. All the prep we did, and Vacassa doesn’t value your time. I slept in the livingroom due to master having been invaded by termites!! They argue with you, put you on hold forever, don’t give names. Forget asking for a mgr!!I asked 30+ times to no avail! BEWARE 33% of my vacation was spent dealing with issues. The rest was sleeping on the most uncomfortable air mattress. Before I forget, you have to wait for the water to be turned on. They take your money, and act as though you doesn’t deserve decency in a 3 world country. Belize is lovely, and they give it a bad name.. The house keeper is the best employee they have. She was very helpful

We are sorry if there was any miscommunication with the local staff, but feel it necessary to mention that we have noted that you were very upset with them during interactions. Many guests visit our home and find the directions clear. When you reached out we were quick to assist in helping you find our home. In Belize, after it rains for extended periods of time we do have “flood flies” that will emerge. We do our best to remedy the situation but it is a naturally occurring part of nature. When we were advised there was a small hole in one of the windows we sent out our maintenance technician immediately to make repairs. The next day, as soon as supply stores were open, we treated the home for the flood flies. We also arranged a whole home clean to accommodate you and your guests feel more comfortable. We will work with our local staff and owner to ensure that ample towels and supplies are provided. Our home also has a private washer and dryer so items can be laundered and re-used. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time staying very safe and comfortable Had a gas stove ice already in ice box Only thing AC was working in living room but in the bedrooms AC control box locked that was my only complaint We delt with it My have call manager but we stayed Gone but next time I would like all rm AC working 4Stars ⭐️ 🇺🇸🇱🇦

Furniture needs to be replaced.

If I haven't brought my own air Mattress two of us wouldn't have had any where to sleep. And one had to sleep on the couch. The furniture needs to be replaced all of it. Kitchen table is to small and two of the chairs were broken .and it was eight of us We couldn't even sit down and eat together..the sofa is small and needs to be replaced .overall the house is very nice but it needs updated furniture. And the Dogs in the neighborhood barking all night couldn't sleep well.

The home was a nice home. It was difficult to find due to the absence of street signs, but the police helped us to find. There is sitting water in front of the property which created a HORRIBLE mosquito infestation. So beware! We did not have television or hot water and the communication was horrible. The hot water was addressed several hours prior to our departure.
