Torch Lake Cottage
Publié le 8 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayThe lake location and the gorgeous surroundings were outstanding; off-scale really. Perhaps one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We spend most of our time , either at the beach or the tennis court, cooked on the outdoor bbq grille, made some evening fire camps by the lake front. The owners are nearby, they are relaxed and very friendly. The cabin itself is fairly modest; it was fine for us because the weather was great and we spent 99% of our time outside. If we had to stay inside for many days, that would be a little tight with the kids.

Property was amazing but accommodations were outdated / dirty and not acceptable for the price paid

We were surprised to read this because we inspected the cottage before your arrival and it was immaculate and recently renovated with new fridge, new dishwasher, new washer/dryer and AC !
We can not price for a 3 day weekend because we can only get good cleaning staff on a weekly basis on the week end.

Beautiful grounds, mediocre cottage
Publié le 16 août 2020 sur HomeAwayAbsolutely gorgeous grounds as described in the listing. Torch Lake is beautiful. The owner is communicative and help is immediate when needed.
The cottage smelled very moldy for the first two days, including the cabinets and dishes inside. Kitchen equipment is mediocre.
We still had a very nice stay.

We are delighted that you had a wonderful stay . Its unfortunate there was so much rain but perhaps on your next visit you will have better weather. Wishing you a good move to Germany.
