The pictures are very deceiving. The rooms were half clean. The hallways and stair way smelled like dog and dirt stains every where. The stay was not terrible but could definitely use some retraining on how to clean. Staff was super nice and helpful and friendly. Over all it was a 3.4/5 for us.

There were so many things that made for an uncomfortable stay at this hotel! A filthy old sock under the bathroom sink, toothpaste on the bathroom mirror, a nasty old bathtub, snot on a pillowcase, a curtain literally in shreds, sticky stains on carpet. There were obvious signs of construction and painting activities in progress (building supplies on lawn, painters tape in hallway) but no activity taking place while we were there. It’s really sad that this lovely town doesn’t have a nicer place to stay.

I have had a meeting with our housekeeping team and shared your review with them and retrained them all on the proper way of cleaning a room. Clean and cozy but updates needed

I’m super picky where I stay but in Bellefontaine the choices are limited. However the beds were extremely comfortable. The cleanliness was pretty good as well too. The floors could’ve been vacuumed a little more thoroughly however it was fine over all. I’m more concerned with cleanliness of the beds, toilets, and baths and they were definitely taken care of. The property definitely could use some interior updates. Whoever owns this can clearly see the inside needs some deep updates overall.

Hotel has been doing some remodeling. It's an older hotel but our room was nice and clean. Staff was super nice and friendly. We didn't eat there, but they had a nice spread for the continental breakfast.

Decent hotel

We arrived early and luckily our room was ready and we were able to check in. The hotel is older, but the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and i felt safe. The breakfast is nothing to write home about, but it is decent. Choice of breads, a few options for cold ceral, you can mae a waffle, yogurts, eggs, sausage, and potatoes. I've certainly had worse choices at other hotels that offer free "breakfast".

The shower head was in terrible shape. the shower head pipe shook inside the wall. Room was very, very stuffy and has old smell to it. Breakfast would have been better if they brought it in from McDonalds (where we ended up going!). They say it is under renovation...they have a lot of work to do.

I do apologize foir the issue you had with the shower. I have had the maintenance department get that issue fixed. We are a couple of weeks away from finishing the first floor then starting on the next floor. We hope you will come back and see all the improvements we are making. The hall we are working on now looks extremely good.
