Publié le 10 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayFantastic communication with the property manager and owner. It was nestled in a beautiful historic area and its location for our weekend for the Penn State game was great. The apartment’s decor was amazing and it did not disappoint.

Definitely Historic, Certainly Stylish
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had an overnight stay here. Firstly, town of Bellefonte has amazing architecture and this building is a piece of that history. The apartment itself is very smartly and stylishly done. There are so many nods to Bellefonte's history in the apartment which are terrific. The apartment is modern with all the conveniences you need but has retained many historical/industrial features which create a super cozy space. Plenty of games and entertainment in the space. My elementary school age child had no problem occupying their time. Building is a short walk to park which was great for our dogs. Breakfast spot is close by and we had no issues finding delivery for dinner. For a longer stay, kitchen is ample and made for dining. Short drive to Penn State which was great for our needs. Great communication from owner. Great Stay overall.

LLWS great place to stay

Great location in Bellefonte easy walking in town to restaurants, river, shopping, and to attend the Grange fair. About 1 hour drive to LLWS in Williamsport but much less congested and restaurants not crowded.Will stay here again.

Excellent location, but had a few issues
Publié le 29 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis apartment is located right in the heart of Bellefonte, which already is quite walkable, but there are restaurants practically right outside the door. We arrived in the evening and easily found a place for a quick sandwich. We heard music playing and walked across the river and took in a lovely concert in the park.
The apartment is very well stocked with snacks and coffee which were much appreciated.
We did have a few negatives though. One was parking. The back lot was full at one point (or so we thought). If we went out during the day, we sometimes returned to a full parking lot and had to pay for public parking. At 5 though, spots would open up (we did learn that there is technically an additional spot available, but it was pretty tight and our car would have stuck out).
Bellefonte wakes up and gets to work early! We were there during the week, so maybe it's different on the weekend, but at 5am, the street sweeper makes his rounds, and by 6am the town is abuzz with construction sounds. That's the price you pay for the location though.
The most concerning thing, however, was that one evening someone just walked into the apartment. It was another renter that couldn't find her apt, but her code worked at our door! They did make things right for us, but they do need to be better about their security policies. It also took quite awhile to get a response, which is surprising given the good communciation up to that point.

I'm sorry for the noises outside, street cleaners do go through daily during the week, especially leading up to any town event that will be taking place in the following weeks. The construction doesn't happen often. Temporary codes are used for the doors, it was loaded in on the wrong setting accidently when it was placed for a previous guest. That has been fixed, as well as a number for a manager located on the property was added. We are glad that you did enjoy your stay aside for the few hiccups, and all concerns have been worked on and fixed.

Nice spot in Bellefonte
Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed 3 nights with my wife and teenager. Convenient location right in town. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals and the apartment had been updated throughout. Old school PacMan arcade was super fun.

Warm and Cozy Apartment
Publié le 21 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis 2nd floor apartment is in a beautiful Victorian house. It is very nicely decorated. Some of the walls are brick which gives it an old world feel. The beds are very comfortable and the overall feel is warm and cozy. The owners had provided snacks and beverages which were very much appreciated after our long drive. The check-in process was quick and easy. It was an awesome place to stay! We only wish that we could have stayed longer.
