Terrible experience. Do not stay here! I have included a picture of the toilet as it appeared when I checked in. You can see it could not have been cleaned within a week. I showed it to them that evening, but was exhausted and asked them to make sure it was cleaned in the morning. The next morning when I left the room, I contacted the front desk and confirmed that they would have the room completely cleaned by the time I got back at 2 PM and was told that would be no problem. I also put a maid service requested sign on the door. When I got back, the room had not been cleaned. I called the front desk and when they came to the room, they argued with me about cleaning the room, because they said the main service sign had fallen off the door and that made them think I did not want to be disturbed despite the fact that I had specifically asked them to do it. After 10 minutes of them arguing with me, they finally agreed to clean the room. To add insult to injury, that night I was lying on the bed and a cockroach crawled across the bed. A picture shows the dead cockroach after I killed it. When I went to check out, they told me they wouldn’t be able to reimburse me for my stay because I had paid online. They said they would figure out a way to reimburse me and contact me when it was done. After a week, I called back and asked about the refund and they hung up on me. Once again, do not stay here!!!

Improved facilites

The Hotel was much improved when compares to earlier stays. Upgrades ro bathroom and carpets was a welcome sight!

Coffee maker did not work. The door to get in room has a huge gap along the bottom and side. The room was very clean and the staff are super nice.

Belleville, KS ABV Inn

4/11/2024 We were hoping to get home, but travel was slower than we had hoped for. We wound up in Belleville to get a bite to eat, fuel the van, and assess traveling in the dark. We wound up here because it had the only rooms available in the area. It started off okay, the rate was reasonable, the night clerk was nice. It went downhill after that. The parking lot is gravel and generally full of holes. The door to room 141 doesn't need a card key as it doesn't lock. The shower 🚿 sprays over the top of the curtain, and the tub drain stopper wouldn't let the tub fill. Two stars 🌟 🌟 PS, we went to a Quality Inn south of Ft Worth, TX, about a week before this stay and spent $10 less and had none of these problems. Now, there's some actual value.

room was updated well, but too small for two people and a pet! missed the restaurant next door - could not find a good substitute.
