Lodge not recommended
Publié le 12 mars 2019 sur HotelsThis Lodge is a very nice scenery and Super location but it's well the only positive. First it's expensive for huts (86 US $) proposed, breakfast (9 US $), lunch (11 US $) and dinner (US $ 15) are expensive for the amount and diversity of food: flat unique, no entry and dessert unique in the evening, not fruit and the quality of meals the expense of the number of person. The cabins do not have window, this is not that mosquito what which would not annoying if the curtains covered well Windows and the cabins was a lot spaced the one of the other, because 3 to 5 meters between each Hut windowless you hear the neighbor snoring, this shower .. so level privacy it's a non-existent. We did washed our machine 10 US $ this was no worries on this point there but we were made linen ball and we lack almost any socks. AND FINALLY THE WiFi IS NOT AVAlLABLE IN THE CABANA, IT IS AT THE RECEPTION BUT AT SOME TIMES BECAUSE WOMEN OF THE WELCOMES DISCONNECTS VERY OFTEN THE BOX WHEN SHE HAS TIRED AND LOCATED APOLOGIES ALWAYS MOST ABSURD. In addition it is not not very friendly. Fortunately, some people are very nice and helpful. I do not recommend this Lodge, Cher not kind no Wi-Fi.

Mathieu I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your time with us. Our cabanas are advertised as open air concept so that you can enjoy the jungle and nature that surrounds each cabana. We're working very hard to secure better wi-fi but unfortunately, due to our location in the middle of the rainforest, options are very limited. We offer wi-fi at our office but cannot control the weather, which often dictates it's reliability. I'm glad to hear you had a good experience with our staff - it's very important to us to offer a warm and hospitable experience.

This property is why I love to travel. If you're coming to Belize, you should absolutely stay here at least a couple nights. The pictures don't do it justice - you feel like you're on an adventure while you're on site, and it's just a cool atmosphere and experience. A true jungle getaway, the cabins are simple but beautiful, with local art and very comfortable bedding and great water pressure in the shower. The property is stunning - surrounded by nature, with huge trees and palms and a great layout, including two different places to swim in the creek, a hiking area, dining room, and play area including an amazing large carved chess set. And then the staff - they are all so lovely and friendly and welcoming, using our names with care and really demonstrating what local hospitality can be. We ate breakfast and dinner on the property both nights/mornings of our stay, and the food was delicious, flavorful, and fresh. The highlight of the trip was sitting on our back patio at night, looking up at the stars and listening to the jungle. 10 of 10 would recommend and will hopefully return here one day!

The plants, trees, birds, sounds of the creek, and all around beauty made this resort an amazing stay. You really do feel like you are one with nature here. Waking up to howler monkeys was an interesting start to the day. The food was great amd the staff was kind and helpful.

Beautiful rooms and outside areas. In the morning and evenings there are hummingbirds all over the property. The staff was very helpful and even arranged for a drop off at the bus stop.

The property is beautiful and the staff are very kind. Going to sleep with the sound of howler monkeys was an amazing experience. We also loved swimming in the beautiful creek. Only issue people might want to prepare for is the dining options. We were only offered one option for dinner and breakfast and the portions were very small. For some I’m sure it’s fine, but we were traveling with three teenage boys and they were still very hungry after dinner. Dinner also was $20/pp, which was our most expensive meal in Belize.
