Lake access and a stunning view with HOT TUB!

Come stay at the lake! Newly renovated kitchen & living! We transformed our old, charming lake house into a retreat for all to enjoy! Enjoy a quiet lakefront property there is a path to the lake. Perfect for a quiet retreat to relax & soak up the sun with breathtaking lake views. 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, mature trees, & room for 8 guests (6 adults comfortably) and boat parking. 5-15 minutes to UMHB, Belton, Killeen, Ft Hood, Scott & White, Salado Shopping. Austin is 50 miles, Waco is 30 miles. The max capacity is 8 people. NO PARTIES WITHOUT CONSENT. Event charge of $500 for events of up to 35. Any guests over 15 is considered an event.

The space is a charming retreat with new comfortable bedding on each bed. The master room has a king with beautiful views to the lake and its own balcony and seating with a view. It is connected to the private master bath. 2nd guest bedroom has a king bed and the 3rd guest room is a bunk room with Queen bunk bed. Guess bath has walk-in shower. Dining for 8 in the dining room and a desk in the living room. This old home has a lot of new charm!

There are two levels of balconies with plenty of seating to dine outside, drink coffee & cocktails while taking in the views. There is a fire pit at the properties edge to enjoy a bonfire, as well as a charcoal grill.

This home does have stairs to access the balconies and lake access to a beach! Bring tennis shoes & water shoes if you want to make the hike down to the lake. There is a rock beach where you can take a chair down and fish, explore, or just hang out at the water's edge. Plenty of room to store your boat in the driveway & you can anchor your boat/toys in the cove. Belton Lake Park is less than 2 miles away to put in your boat.

Pets are welcome, although it will require $150 per pet fee.

Great stay at the lake
We enjoyed our stay at the lake! The ping pong table was a huge hit, and the views are beautiful. There were plenty of kitchen utensils and bakeware, and the smore supplies were a fun touch. Our bed was very comfortable, but I would have liked the option of curtains to block out light in the master. Having a full size washer/dryer is very helpful.

It was nice. Stay again? No. Door auto locks! Booo NO decorations anywhere the customer would use.. counters tables and dressers. I like to put my stuff on those surfaces. Nothing was damaged except for a broken mirror behind the door. Pong paddles need replaced. I chose this property for the hot tub and the fire pit only. HOTTUB STANK OF LAKE WATER HOT GROSS STAGNATION, it was foamy too. So I went to the garage to find a pool kit and chemicals... None. No skimmer, no chemicals, no test kits.. I imagine a company comes to tend the tub. I was forced to buy chlorine to shock the tub. I cleaned the filter, the cover and the walls of the tub and waited over night. It was a beautiful tub again, it felt amazing!! No stink either!! Its closer to night time now and I've been in and out a couple times so the concrete is wet all around the tub. While my bare feet are on the wet concrete I put my hand in the water and Im electrocuted!!!! Woah! Its not super painful but its really uncomfortable!! I learned that as long as I'm not touching the ground and water I'm safe. No laundry basket Had to buy toliet brush Had to buy disinfectant spray for cleaning in between cooking. Wheres the broom? Theres a dustpan! Remove knives from disorganized draws. Get a knife set in a block Low pressuse showers should have handheld sprayers Laundry left in dryer, folding table! Fire Equipment Needed!! Poker, shovel ect. Fire warmth heads to the lake at night making firepit useless. Seasonings

Fun, Restful Family Getaway!
This property was super cute and well-decorated! The lake views were AMAZING off the back deck, and we really enjoyed the hot tub too! There is a little path to hike down to the lake, and we were able to use the two kayaks and paddle around the cove/inlet that the property accesses. It was great! We gifted my mother-in-law with this trip, and even though she didn't hike down, she loved the ability to watch us kayak from the deck! We also enjoyed the full-size ping pong table in one of the living areas. A couple things about the posting that weren't accurate, but were a nice surprise. It said only one bedroom had a king bed and another had a queen bed, but they actually both had king beds. Also, it said the master bathroom only had a tub and no shower, but it actually was the other way around. It only had a shower and no tub (which worked fine for us, but if you have small children and are expecting a bath, you should make a note of this). We would stay again! Very relaxing and in a quiet neighborhood.

A Lemon of VRBOs
This house appeared amazing online, but around every corner was a let down. There were small things such as all but one Adirondack chair being broken. But the greatest disappointment was having no access to the lake despite the listing promising lake access. There were many areas of the house that looked like they had not been cleaned in months, and the bed sheets even had a stain. This house needs a lot of attention before being listed as an adequate rental home. The property manager was responsive over text, but there was not much she could do.

We rented the home from VRBO for Sat & Sun; I think you need to be aware of some major issues in the house. We were extremely disappointed, but elected to stay because we had bow fishing plans on the lake. The house is under construction. The dining room is missing flooring & is covered w/ 4 rugs. There was a large industrial fan on in the home when we arrived blowing on that area. I assume the rugs must've been wet at sometime. The home does have an odor resembled an old trailer house. One of the reasons we rented the house was the picture showed lake access. We were hoping we could be picked up by our fishing guide on the little beach shown in the pictures. The access is completely cut off w/ broken stairs & brush. The pics of this home must be from years ago when it was purchased by the owners. According to the property manager a storm recently caused it. When the toilet in the hall bath is flushed, it bubbles up into the master toilet. When you turn on the garbage disposal, the other lights in the home blink & turn off. Perhaps this has to do with the mess of electric wires coming out of the box under the eave of the house. All of the outdoor rugs were rolled up and a mess; tripping hazard. The porch ceiling is falling down on the upper porch. The finishing under the eave is also falling down. To finish it all off, a crew of contractors installing gutters came knocking @ the door at 8 am on Monday asking for access to the home. Check out is 11.

Nice home with a great view
Overall nice home, although it is older and shows signs of age like cracked ceiling, worn out kitchen appliances, bulbs out, toilets that bubble up when you flush them. Decor is great and the view is outstanding.

Thanksgiving Get Away
The house was nice. The view was fantastic. Just beware, they are serious when they say take the path to the water at your own risk. It is very steep in places and there is a lot of dirt so it is slippery when it's been raining. Once we got down there successfully we had a blast exploring the shoreline and got lots of awesome pictures.

We had a great time! The house was very comfortable for hanging out. We cooked some of our meals here and felt like we had everything we needed. The kids complained that the bedroom with the bunk beds was hot at night. Otherwise, no complaints!

The location/neighborhood is quiet. The home was clean and comfortable, but in need of some upkeep and a good remodel. King bed was very comfortable. The lake is way down a steep path. Children under 12 would most likely have a hard time getting back up...even some adults would have a hard time. Tall weeds along the path, so chiggers a concern. The swings are gone. No hose bib at the rear of the property (Kids would've loved a sprinkler during the 116 weather). AC works great! People often wonder about cameras. I noticed one exterior camera in the front. Overall, a comfortable and quiet location. I would most likely stay here again.

Texas Get Away on Lake Belton
This is a great property with spectacular views. Home is in good shape, quiet neighborhood. My wife walked 3 miles each morning and enjoyed the safety of it. Comfortable accommodations. Its a hike to the lake, but worth it for the serenity. Would stay here again, and highly recommend this spot.

Fantastic Week!
We had a delightful time. We fished, we swam in the lake, rented a pontoon boat and kayaks. The house is bright and the views are gorgeous. The trail down to the lake was challenging for me. I was an old pro by the end of the trip:) I would definitely book this property again.

Very Lovely View
The home was nice and very clean. The view was spectacular 24/7 and the house had all the basic conveniences. (Be sure to bring your own seasonings, coffee, etc.) We loved all the porches and balconies, each of which also had a great view. Fire pit is a nice touch. The only negatives were that the bubble tub in the master bedroom did not bubble. (Sort of a disappointment) and be forewarned that the trek to the beach is a little rougher than you would expect. This could be because the lake is so low right now. You have found the perfect sit-on-the-deck and look at the lake spot. Very private as well.

Gorgeous Views
Pictures cannot do justice for the views you get at this property! We loved looking at the lake from the deck, yard, living room and our bedroom window! Neighborhood is very nice and property is clean! The access to the beach was a major perk for us as well! And yes, it is a "hike" and my parents were not physically able to make it, but they had no complaints as they were completely satisfied with their views from the house! We would definitely stay at this property again!

Lakeview Retreat getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lakeview Retreat. The house was super clean and well stocked. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood which we enjoyed. The views were stunning. We could not spend enough time on the back patios marveling at the scenery. The dogs loved it also! Lezlie was very attentive and accommodating. We also enjoyed several of the local restaurants and boutiques. Great time! Thank you!!
