Accueil de qualité, Restaurant quatastrophique, Ambiance angoissante, Une belle piscine mais qu on ne peut pas vraiment utiliser (horaires restreints) Chambre spacieuse mais odeur dérangeante et climatisation qui fonctionne mal : je n'ai pas dormi. Très mitigé sur cet endroit

We had a great stay , the room were nice , the view was great . Bed were comfortable.

Is the five-star self proclaimed?

The property is nice enough but not necessarily five stars. First, let me mention the positives. The room is spacious The breakfast buffet is good. There is a different noodles dish each day. The made to order omelette is well cooked. The pool is nice. The staff is polite and attentive. Unfortunately, we left on a sour note though. We opted for no housekeeping during our stay. All we did was traded towels and asked for toilet paper. When we checked out, we were asked to pay for a missing towel and a ripped towel. We did not take a towel nor did we ripped one. We did take a bag and were willing to pay for that. We were not believed and had to return to the room to sort things out. In the end, we paid for one towel just so we can join the tour that was already delayed.

Diamond Star lives up to its 5 stars

Diamond star lives up to its 5 star rating. Clean, modern, attentive staff, good English skills, excellent breakfast and wonderful views and close to the Ben Tre market. We have stayed before and they are consistent. One area of concern is pool is in same area as breakfast and the marble floors near the elevator are very slippery when wet. One strange comment by the staff to our local family (experienced travelots) staying with us at the hotel. They told them as they checked in ( not to us when we checked in) that their rooms were nonrefundable but they could check out early if they wanted? Did not come across as very welcoming and in USA this would be considered pretty biased.
