Christmas 2023 & NY 2024

We chose Benalmadena for its close proximity to Malaga Airport and for its such mild winter temps and hours of sunshine. All 10 of us met at the villa from 3 different countries within days of each other. The villa was exactly as described in the ad, clean, well maintained and everything working. We found its location to be central without the noise of "downtown", but easily accessible being only a 12 minute walk to supermarket or 5 mins drive to a hypermarket. Adequate wifi coverage. We paid extra for heating the pool but it was well worth it. Communication with the owner Jennifer was excellent. On one occasion we had no hot water (electric fuse had tripped), on another we ran out of heating gas. On both occasions, it was fixed immediately with a TXT message or phone call so really big plus for that. Really quite impressed with it all and cannot wait to revisit.

Family holiday

A great location

We do try to be perfect all the time! I’m sorry the linen and mattress for one bed wasn’t to your liking. It is a very personal thing and we all have different tastes…. We do replace the linen very regularly and the mattress has just had a new, good quality topper. I will check it myself to make sure though and thank you for giving me the heads up!

Spacious Villa
Publié le 21 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat living and outdoor space, we had 10 adults in our party so bedrooms were good but would be difficult to accommodate up to 14 as advertised for.
Location is good, quiet street and easy walk to the nearby supermarkets.
Clean and had all the required amenities. Only thing that let the first impression of the villa down was the garden was a bit unkempt, long grass around the pool area!

I am so glad you loved the villa! It is a large villa and there are bedrooms for 10 people and for 14 people it is necessary to use sofa beds. There are 3 double sofa beds.
Unfortunately the week you were here my gardener had to have a very sudden and serious operation. We did explain. The grass nevertheless was cut for your visit as we organized a different gardener but maybe he left the grass right at the edge of the pool. Either way it would have been cut right up to the pool the week before your visit.
I am glad that didn’t spoil your holiday and hope you will return soon!

A fantastic family friendly villa
Publié le 29 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe were a group of 12 - 5 adults and 7 children aged 8 and under. This villa was perfect for us and Jennifer the host could not have been more helpful. Her communication was excellent.
The villa was lovely and clean and very well equipped for all our needs.
We had the pool heated and the children had hours of fun in there.
The beach and restaurants were a bit of a walk for little legs so I’d recommend a buggy for younger children.

The villa was very nice, and the owners and staff were excellent to deal with!

I am so glad we were excellent and that the villa was very nice!
It was particularly cold..... which is unusual. We did deliver an extra heater and show you how to work the gas heaters which were in the villa - they are very efficient and heat the house very quickly. Plus there is the a/c which is not only for cold in the summer but also for heat in the winter. I know you rang on Christmas Day and we were more than happy to come out on that day and bring the extra heater and show you how to work the gas heaters but you (very kindly) said not to worry on Christmas Day and so we came out the next day. I am pretty sure that all solved the issue for you and you were warm in the house!

So glad you had such a lovely time an enjoyed the villa so much! For anyone with walking difficulties I do have another villa right by Puerto Marina (El Descanso). This villa, Casa de los LImones, is closer to the town and those amenities. :)
