Spacious villa

Lovely spacious villa had everything we needed great pool/view. On a hill so not suitable for the elderly if walking took us a while to find it as we hadn’t received directions .

We had a wonderful holiday in this extremely spacious beautiful villa. The location suited us perfectly as it was in a quiet area but only a short walk to a supermarket , a couple of bars, a lovely cafe and a few restaurants. We didn't have a car and this was not an issue as the train station and bus stop are so close by. It is also very easy to get an uber which we did to take us to Benalmadena marina and pueblo. We took the train to fuengirola for a walk along the prom and then caught a bus from there to mijas pueblo which is lovely. We enjoyed relaxing at the villa and having a dip in the pool. The villa had all the glasses, dishes and pots and pans you could ever need. We loved the outdoor dining terrace and the various outdoor areas where we could sit in the sun or get a bit of shade. The view from the pool area and upstairs bedroom was spectacular. We loved every minute of our stay here and would love to visit again sometime. Communication with the owner was also great. Thank you

Great location in Benalmadena with beautiful terrace

Overall, we had a great trip however. I found the owner to be a poor communicator , the house is 4 really bedrooms and 1 that looks like it was the pantry of the kitchen and the other the tv (which was unusable as the 8 remotes were all in Dutch) room, closed by a curtain. The owner, a couple days before check in told me that I would be charged 300 euro for heating the pool, 10 euro for linens per person and 5 for towels each day. I could do nothing but accept this as all of my family were flying in. When I looked up by initial contract I paid for all of this originally and thus far have not heard from owner about acknowledgement or return of my deposit. The project manager was amazing, she helped where she could - getting the pool heater to work etc. The house furnishings are really old in the dining room and living room. There are keys to every door and gate - 8 and every window - crazy. But we had fun!!

We have been in contact with your host, Luc, who confirms the guest confirmation email includes information related to which extra fees are to be paid on site. The amount a guest pays includes only the nightly rate and the cleaning fee. Luc also notes that in order to proceed with the refund, the guest was asked to confirm their payment details. Unfortunately, Luc was not provided with the necessary information at that time. The layout of properties and amenities are made as clear as possible when we create our listings. Professional photographs are taken without using wide-angled lenses, and uploaded without any retouching or filters. They are as close to reality as possible. The descriptions also get updated regularly. We appreciate and note your comments regarding the general furnishings, and take them on board to help us further improve the property for the future.
