Best experience i have had in Bend. I have occasion to pass through Bend, Or twice each year since 2018, and this was a very good experience.

The room was much bigger than i expected. Everythng was clean and in its place. It was very comfortable and the AC/heater maintained the desired temperature very well, unlike other places i have stayed recently. A very good experience. i plan to stay on my return trip.

The room was better looking than the photo. The room was of good size and nicely decorated, the shower had beautiful tile. There was an outside pool but i didn't use it because it was too cold outside. There was a food truck serving Indian food out front. The food was delicious! I will definitely stay here again.

***CREDIT CARD FRAUD ALERT!*** DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! Booked this room through Expedia for one night. Selected Cascade Lodge as I was just passing through Bend for one night and went with the cheapest rate I could find. I reserved the room and chose the option to "pay at property". At approximately 9am the morning of check-in (not allowed until 2pm), I noticed two charges on my credit card. One for "Cascade Lodge Motel" for $20 MORE than the reservation, and another for "GDP*Service Charge by Hotel" for $25. I figured it was an error that would easily be corrected. Boy was I wrong. Upon arrival at the property, I asked about the charges. They very rudely told me that "We do not have your credit card information" and that "we can't even see how much you paid Expedia for the room". I tried to explain that I selected the "Pay at Property" option, but they rudely dismissed me. The motel itself was fine; exactly what you'd expect for a cheap motel. No complaints there. After the trip, I sent over 20 emails to Expedia trying to get the refund. I even called my bank multiple times to figure out where the mysterious "GDP*Service Charge by Hotel" charge was coming from. Finally, I got the $20 overcharge refunded by my bank, and Expedia finally informed me that the $25 extra charge was for a "pet fee". I don't have a pet. I finally got this refunded almost 2 months after my stay.
