The person who checked us in was sub-par, didn’t offer us any information about the hotel. Not the breakfast hours, not the Wi-Fi password, nothing. We were also surrounded by rooms of people partying…wouldn’t bother me as much during reasonable hours but they continued to 130a/2a. It got to a point we had to call the front desk to tell them to stop.

Breakfast was a joke. We have stayed there before when there was an actual breakfast buffet! There was a microwave in the room, but the cord was to short to plug into wall unless you moved to machine to the bathroom counter. No TV guide BUT there was a price list for items you may damage. There was one thin blanket on the bed with no extras if one was needed. Most likely will not stay there again.

It’s a two star stay for a reason I suppose. We’ve had super good luck staying at Days Inn locations in the past. This area was obviously super low income, and they probably have a hard time getting good staff. The staff at the front desk couldn’t be bothered to refill granola bars or other breakfast items in the morning, and was not approachable AT ALL. The young guy that worked the evenings at least tried to have good customer service but was obviously young and confused. They were out of pool towels. Housekeeping came in our first morning and took the two pool towels we did have (there were 5 of us) without cleaning anything up, it was super weird. I will say the pool and area surrounding it seemed very clean in comparison to the rest of the property.

I was very skeptical prior to my stay here because the reviews have been pretty terrible lately. However I really have no complaints. I stayed here one night prior to a hike. My room was clean and smelled clean. Everything in the room was in working order and well stocked with coffee and toiletries. I had no issues with parking and there were plenty of spots. I knew ahead of time that it was a simple grab and go breakfast and this was just fine for me. They provided coffee, fruit, bars and hard boiled eggs. Simple things but just enough to get you on your way. I would stay here again. It just goes to show that you can't always trust what you read on reviews.

After a long ride on a motorcycle, the clean, air-conditioned rooms and an awesome swimming pool were nice treats. Restaurants close by and easy to get back on the road out of town in the morning.
