Wonderful Budget Friendly Option

The condo was exactly what I needed for myself, and then for my husband when he joined me later in the week. For those that are sensitive to sounds, be aware that this is a ground floor unit. While it was bothersome at times for me because it did get to be overly "obnoxious" from time to time, overall I was okay with the fact that you could hear the tenants' upstairs movements because that's just part of the "condo style" living; however, I would not necessarily recommend this unit for those that would be annoyed by this on an going basis. Luckily, the majority of the noise was not during the quiet hours but I can say that some of them were quite startling, sounding as if something huge was dropped on the floor and going to crash through the ceiling above me. On the up side, because it is a ground floor unit, packing and unpacking is easy because you don't have to navigate stairs.
I was concerned at first about the internet connection, after reading other reviews, and not getting a strong signal when I first logged onto the network provided in the welcome email, but I soon learned that the owner had installed a separate router/service of their own. Once connected to that, the Wi-Fi worked seamlessly.
All-in-all, this rental worked out well for me.

Nice place

The heating only works on the living side of the condos (not it appears to technically be two rented together. The bathroom sides get quite cold (and it was in October and not snowing yet). So bring something warm for those rooms.
Otherwise it was a nice place in a relatively quiet area.

Great Location
Publié le 24 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe locations was perfect. We were able to walk to shopping and restaurants as well as several parks. The host was great at responding when I had a question. The drawbacks were that there was no comfortable seating for relaxing, only an uncomfortable futon. The only tv viewing options were Roku so we didn't get live news. The internet was too slow to be able to watch anything. Worst of all was the unit was dirty. At a glance it looked okay but there were dirty dishes in the cupboards. The floors were so dirty it caused mud if they got wet. At least the linens were clean.

First stay in vrbo

The property in bend was an advertised..spacious and clean.
While its not where the most touristy things in bend are located, its relatively close by..a long 20min walk or 5min car ride away.

Disappointing

I would suggest that you provide step by step instructions on how to use the TV's.
Air conditioner in the main room sounded like it would break any time it kicked on or off.

Hi Mary! We’re currently developing in-house booklets with step-by-step instructions to help guests navigate any questions during their stay. As for the air conditioner, it is indeed an older system however, it works better than most of the newer designs on cooling the place down. We are very disappointed to hear that our housekeeping team fell short on the overall level of cleanliness. We want all of our guests to feel clean, comfortable and right at home when staying with us so we will be sure to address this with our team immediately. Waterfalls and Brews
Publié le 9 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayEnjoyed our stay at "Leaf Your Troubles Behind". The condo's location was perfect for everything we wanted to do in the area. We hiked during the early part of the day, then explored the "in town Riverwalks and Breweries. Condo was set up well for our 5 night stay.

Enjoyable Stay
