We stayed in a “Lodge Room” (not AT the Lodge, so be careful when booking to clarify if you want to stay IN the lodge). The Keurig was broken the first morning, so that was a bummer—Rude Front Desk girl told us to “buy a coffee and charge it to the room”, so she could comp rather than just allow use of the Keurig there. Coffee Shop was still closed at 7am, so…It ended up being a bigger deal than it needed to be. We were located across the parking lot from The Cove, which was EPIC!! We LOVED the amenities, including a water tube slide and grill with snacks and drinks. Everyone there was so professional and kind!

The room smell was really bad. Couldn't sleep all night. They should check it out and clean up the smell

It was okay. Not for Onewheels. Pros: - The two queen suite was really spacious and suited our family of five well. - We loved the porch and large lawn area directly out our back door. - The nature center and observatory were really cool and good for young kids. - The trail system was amazing while riding around in blissful ignorance with my family. - Access to the Cove included with the room (2 pools, 2 waterslides, 2 hot tubs, bar & food service) Cons: - Some basic cleanliness issues on check-in (floor needed vacuuming, dirt on the hideabed mattress cover, leftover food residue on the kitchen counter) - Upstairs bathroom door would not close/lock - $40 for 90 minutes on a pickleball court (!!!) ... needless to say we passed. - Their policy regarding people transport was rather vague and not broadcasted well at all beforehand. A bit more on this... I had seen plenty of electrified scooters, eBikes, and even a couple other Onewheels riding on the trail, but started getting comments like: "You're not supposed to have those." "That's a $500 fine!" so I wanted to figure out the official policy. I asked the front desk and THEY asked the back desk. :) The answer on the official policy is that pedal-assisted and electrified is okay, but just electrified is not. To be a good example for the kids, I stayed off the board. What they told me in person did not line up with what I eventually found on their website, which to be fair, I'm having trouble finding again for this review! :D

I regret that you were disappointed that your Onewheel was not permitted on our 40-mile paved bike paths, and I hope you'll accept our apologies for any confusion regarding this. As per the policies outlined in the FAQ section on our website, the use of roller blades is not authorized due to the Sunriver Owners' Association rules, and a Onewheel, although not specified, would come under these guidelines. We will certainly address your feedback internally to review where this could be better communicated to our guests going forward. Easy check in. Property is beautiful. Fun amenities. Kids loved The Cove. Definitely going back.

I've stayed on and off for over 40 years. I've always enjoyed my stay and now bring my children. I was a bit disappointed in that we were in was just behind the Cove, - which while convenient, was loud because of people enjoying themselves and because of amplified music. The stated "quiet hours" in the morning were until after 10 AM I understand, yet every morning, there were trucks arriving just after 7 AM to back-up with backing alarms and clanging garbage containers and making deliveries right behind, (50 ft) our room. I understand the need, but not very peaceful or effective if we are trying to relax and sleep-in a bit on vacation. I noted that there was considerable broken glass, (small size) on the asphalt of the parking lot where the trucks were a couple mornings. The room was "disabled accessible." While this was fine, the rolling "barn door" did not provide much privacy for each other as they used the bathroom, - I believe because of the significant space between the bottom of the door and the floor. I would've preferred to be farther away. Thanks for asking/listening.
