Self Contained Country Cottage - semi rural property PET and child Friendly

Lovely rural property, complete with a working chook house - yes farm fresh eggs for breakfast. Self Contained Cottage has a fenced in area to keep pets safe. Sit on the large covered verandah and watch the wild life go by which includes Rabbits and many types of native birds, or step out side the fenced in area for a lovely tree swing. Only 12 minutes from Bendigo CBD, less to Bendigo pottery, or various short drives to wonderful haunts like Colbinabbin Silo Art, Echua, Heathcote, Bridgewater, Castlemaine, Maldon, Reasdale & Axedale.

Generous apportioned cabin, which can sleep up to 4, Separate Bedroom with Queen Bed, Separate Bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen and family room complete with a sofa bed, full cooking facilities, continental Brecky offered upon request. Condiments supplied include Coffee. Tea, sugar, oil for cooking, salt and pepper and limit Spices.

Walking distance from Huntly Hotel providing smoke house and traditional pub meals, Award winning George's Bakery, Take away Gourmet burgers El Gordo's, a friendly LGA supermarket, hairdresser and Laundromat.

Lovely cottage in a good location

The cottage is a good size. The bed is very comfortable and the TV is quite large. Bathroom is modern. There is a clothes rack and pegs. Fresh eggs, bread and milk provided. Also good kitchen.lovely covered outdoor space to enjoy

The Cottage at Huntley

The cottage was easy to find as the host had sent clear concise instructions. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find the little cottage was exactly as described. Everything was provided for us to enjoy our brief stay, the yard was fully fenced so our mini schnauzer Coco could come and go from inside as she pleased and she even got to chat with the household chickens. All round a very homey, secure place that I would recommend.

Gorgeous little cabin

Fabulous hosts and a lovely little cabin, just perfect for myself and my deaf/blind dog who was attending a scent work trial nearby the following day. After a long drive, the small yard was perfect for my dog to explore while I unloaded our things and then I took her out into the bigger yard for an explore while being supervised by the chickens! The kitchen was perfect, the whole cabin was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable and the decking area just perfect for an autumn evening in the sunshine. Overall, a perfect experience and such kind and wonderful hosts.

Relaxing country setting, beautiful outdoor decking with comfortable seating. Secured fenced area for dogs and toddlers. Toddler loved the garden ornaments. Fantastic place

The cabin was just perfect for us and the dogs. Meagan and Mark were great communicators and very accommodating. The farm fresh eggs were a bonus! Location was great, peaceful and quiet but just a stroll from the local pub.We’ll be back.

Such a lovely cottage with everything you need My young dog and I had a great stay. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts, complete with plenty of little extras inside that made our stay that bit better. I wish we stayed longer. Great little out of town stay.

Perfect for a quiet and serene, self-contained country stay. Plenty of chooks, rabbits, galahs and very respectful owners (left us to ourselves). The unit is very tidy with tasteful finishes and everything we needed, including a great set of DVDs. Fresh eggs were a very welcome flourish.
