Self Contained Country Cottage - semi rural property PET and child Friendly

Lovely rural property, complete with a working chook house - yes farm fresh eggs for breakfast. Self Contained Cottage has a fenced in area to keep pets safe. Sit on the large covered verandah and watch the wild life go by which includes Rabbits and many types of native birds, or step out side the fenced in area for a lovely tree swing. Only 12 minutes from Bendigo CBD, less to Bendigo pottery, or various short drives to wonderful haunts like Colbinabbin Silo Art, Echua, Heathcote, Bridgewater, Castlemaine, Maldon, Reasdale & Axedale.

Generous apportioned cabin, which can sleep up to 4, Separate Bedroom with Queen Bed, Separate Bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen and family room complete with a sofa bed, full cooking facilities, continental Brecky offered upon request. Condiments supplied include Coffee. Tea, sugar, oil for cooking, salt and pepper and limit Spices.

Walking distance from Huntly Hotel providing smoke house and traditional pub meals, Award winning George's Bakery, Take away Gourmet burgers El Gordo's, a friendly LGA supermarket, hairdresser and Laundromat.

We had a great stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and stocked with all the necessary stuff as well as some lovely extra touches. It’s a beautiful property and we loved having coffee on the porch in the morning.

Such a lovely cottage with everything you need My young dog and I had a great stay. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts, complete with plenty of little extras inside that made our stay that bit better. I wish we stayed longer. Cottage was clean and tidy with everything you would need. Fresh eggs supplied by the resident chooks was a lovely touch.Great relaxing quiet setting close enough to the main city of Bendigo. Just a shame we had to leave early.

We stayed for 5 days. It is a small place but with great function and really lovely outdoor areas. The hosts are lovely and everything was really clean. What a fantastic place for an overnight stopover
After travelling for many hours including delays with car issues we arrived quite late and were greeted warmly by Megan. The cottage was beautifully furnished with a lovely outdoor area that was completely enclosed - perfect for our little dog. The inclusion of breakfast provisions was a nice touch. Will definitely be back next year.

Extremely stressful
I was in town for a wedding, we were unable to find the property, contact the hosts, and had no way of communicating other than being sent to a website to send an online message. We had to urgently find a hotel to stay at so we didn't miss the wedding. I would highly, highly recommend for these people if this was real to send contact information let alone an address to find the property in the first place. I would like to be refunded as we never even stayed there and could have potentially missed the wedding if we had brought our dog with us. I had my information when I booked so I believe I should have been contacted.

Dog friendly Cottage
Secure fenced yard for my dog. A covered deck for me to sit and enjoy the wildlife. Kitchen and bathroom equiped with everything I needed and more. Hosts supplied milk, bread and farm fresh eggs as well as an other basics to get started. Conveniently located near an IGA, bakery and hotel. This was my perfect retreat from the city!

Perfect place to stay
Was extremely happy with our accommodation. Just perfect traveling with 2 dogs. Nice fenced area around the cottage for the dogs and access to a bigger area once the gates were closed. Great weekend away
I came with my wife and 2yo dog and we had the best time at this property. It was close enough to everything we wanted to do and see around Bendigo, and importantly had enough open and contained space for our anxious dog to have a great time. The cottage was above our expectations. It was clean, tidy and welcoming, along with little added extras such as bread, milk and spreads for toast. There was no skimping on things such as tissues and we had everything we needed.

Such a sweet place to stay! The fresh eggs, condiments, and neat and tidy kitchen were a pleasure to use. Our 9-month-old particularly loved seeing the chickens, rabbits, and roos that were about the place. Very cosy place. Would recommend. 👍👍
