Horrible odeur de renfermé dans la chambre. Le service est aléatoire, mal indiqué, mal organisé. Service client laisse à désirer.

There was no hot water available in the bathroom! There was no one to attend to the issue, so we all had to have cold water bath, especially on a cold and wet winter morning. Also very poor lighting in the rooms.

Terrible experience

Where do I start the terrible experience…. Right from water bottle to milk, stay, bathroom cleanliness everything is terrible…. Please avoid this chain of hotels….

It is not maintained properly. Rooms stink of old fabric and sofas. AC doesn’t cool up the room. Bathroom looks very old with things just working to bare minimum and super old fittings. Not worth the money for sure. I stayed here three times in last 4 years and have seen the quality slid down significantly. I was staying this time with family and would never come back again Also, their website is dated with different description of rooms than actual.

Here is my experience. I checked in, which was a relatively painless experience. Walked into the room to see a used towel on top of a cabinet. Checked the washroom for cleanliness because something didnt seem right, found the garbage bin was full, soap, shampoo opened from the packaging and used. The couch had what appeared to be multiple "love stains" and was in need of some steam cleaning. Then I proceeded to check the bed which was put together to look clean. When I removed the blanket there was bits of hair all over it. I then complained to hotels.com and to the hotel staff. They showed me another room but hair under the blanket there as well, so I checked out within an hour of checkin. This hotel most likely doesnt do their laundry, or has poor staff. If hygiene is as important for you than it is for me. Do not stay in this hotel. I was supposed to stay for 5 days and lost out on some money because I was refused a refund or partial refund even. Hope this helps some of you make a better decision than I did. (I tried uploading pics but have been unsuccessful. I will edit this review and try again once I get some better net connection)

Hotel is reasonably clean.Staff looks friendly, but very slow in action. WiFi is useless.

Keep your expectations low to have a pleasant stay

I was initially disappointed as the pictures and the actual look of the room didn't match. The shower room was little below par in look and maintenance. After a day I got used to the hotel and my stay got comfortable. But overall being a business hotel I expect better rooms.

A Perfect Stay at The HHI Select, Bangalore

My stay was amazing and thanks to Mr. Gaurav of The HHI Select.. The experience was very good.. The room was spacious and clean with all modern amenities.. A perfect stay & will be back there soon :)

No "Suite" in the Hotel

The hotel room types and that provided in Hotels.com are different. While I booked a Suite, the hotel does not have suites. Therefore, they tried to put me in their standard room. Reason given was that since I requested a room with twin beds, they had placed me there. On objecting, they changed my room to again a standard room with a double bed. I got extremely annoyed and demanded to see the GM. That is when the front office manager came and put me in their premier room which was still not ready as the previous guests had left late. All this was happening around 3:00 pm. If booking a suite through Hotels, make sure you align the room category at the time of check-in. The hotel is prone to put you in a lower category room. After we had this sorted, rest of the stay was uneventful. Rooms are comfortable (avoid 1st floor as room I was given initially was musty because of old carpet). Staff is generally courteous. Food options are many but food is very oily and spicy. There are options close by (Barbequeue Nation for food and Starbucks for coffee). When giving the taxi driver directions, tell him that the hotel is next to the Ford Showroom in Jayanagar Phase II. I needed a hotel close to Christ University which this was. Overall stay was pleasant after sorting out the initial glitch.
