This is new hotel. Started on December 2019 and my stay on 10-15 February 2020. I like the room. Big enough. No comment about cleanness because everything is new. Dont expect mineral water on the plastic bottle, they put it on water pot. I dont taste the food for breakfast, because i think Bengkulu's traditional breakfast is better. For sure, based on menu on the room, room service food is very very expensive, even more expensive than hotel in Jakarta. The most i hate is the entrace, lobby and parking. FIRST, I only found on this hotel and never found on other hotel that parking gate before lobby, so even just drop or pickup, car must pay parking fee (will be free if the ticket stamped at receptionist; sucks; everytime you get ticket must be stamped). Strange thing, they put sign DROP OFF/PICKUP near road side but the door to lobby thru stair is locked. SECOND, so you are dropped off, picked up or just to go outside hotel must thru climing road about 120meter. It's not easy for child, elder, person with baggage. there's no special lane for person, it's actully for car which a bit risky. THIRD, the parking zone is OK but not easy route when you exit hotel from parking zone, it's very tricky and you must descent 3 floors before arrive at exit gate for payment. I have reported and complained this to the reception staff but no good response just an argument.

Also thank you for participating on zero plastic consumed in the hotel this to continue Mercure Bengkulu mission on sustainable program with Planet 21. You should try to taste various healthy and delicious selection of Mercure Bengkulu's breakfast on the next stay! The pricing is less than what guest can expect from bigger city such as Jakarta and You may find affordable selection of menu inside our local favor buffet mix with Asian cuisine. I am apologized if you found out that parking area is confusing. We are soon connected with live styles mall in main lobby drop that You mention. Please kindly understand that the lifestyles mall lobby in on progress and soon could be access to the lobby hotel. Hotel provides guest with free parking that managed by outsource partner, this to make sure area of parking is well managed, clean and secure. I am sure that hotel concierge is willing to assist guest to have free ticket parking stamp according guest period of stay. We are not recommend any guest go through the ramp because the function is only for cars and small busses. Beside that Mercure Hotel provides easy access to go to lobby from lower ground by elevator or stairs. Its located on East West of the parking building. We are going to improved our signage both in Bahasa and English taking from your comments and hope that for next stay with us will find easily and helpful access.
