Fantastic! We plan to return in the next two months! My fiance and I stayed here for snow and ski at Stratton. We LOVED the 1960’s-1970’s style of the rooms but everything was so clean well kept we felt right at home and comfortable (unlike staying at larger chain hotels where you feel you need to check for bed bugs no matter what -not here!) Owner/Manager was extremely warm and friendly and you can tell he cares about his little hotel. Kept the fireplace going, coffee station stocked, and had fresh towels ready and waiting for every time you wanted to use the hot tub! He even permitted us an allotted time to use said tub when all the time slots for the night were filled for the night.
Beautiful views of a brook behind the building from our room. We can’t wait to come stay again when we return skiing!

I recently stayed near Mount Stratton and had a perfect experience. The hotel was cozy, quiet, and impeccably clean. It’s in a great location with friendly staff. The lobby was a standout with its huge windows and a massive fireplace right in the middle, creating a warm atmosphere. Plus, there are fantastic restaurants nearby for lunch or dinner, and it’s not far from the mountain. Overall, I highly recommend it for a great balance of price and quality.
The room decor was retro and done beautifully, lots of room and a beautiful view of the creek from the window. The Recreation room was comfy and a was a good place to sit by the fire with a drink and relax.
Our room was attractive, spotless, comfortable, and quiet. Extra blankets and pillows, thick towels, a comfortable seating area where we ate our take-out dinner, the heat worked perfectly, and the view out the window of the backyard and creek was lovely. The owner was very helpful, and the diner literally across the street made breakfast easy and delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
Loved the place, the throw back ambiance to retro was much appreciated. Snacks when you arrive are a cool welcome. The hang out room was the cherry on top. Coffee and tea, loved it.
As you would expect, the throw back motels come with some natural noises from the people walking in their room upstairs or down the halls. Not an issue for me, my wife who is a lite sleep struggled but we managed. Overall, 9.5/10
Lovely restored property. Very clean quiet and a beautiful view from the room. Friendly welcoming staff. We would definitely stay here again. Cute common room with fireplace and coffee 24 seven.
I had an incredible stay at this renovated 1960s motel! They've done an amazing job of preserving the vintage character while adding tasteful, modern updates. The retro decor instantly transports you back in time, with original furnishings that feel straight out of the ‘60s—quirky lamps, classic wood paneling, and a color palette that’s delightfully retro. Despite the vintage aesthetic, the amenities are modern and comfortable: fast Wi-Fi and cozy, plush beds that offer a great night’s sleep. It’s the perfect blend of nostalgia and convenience.
The attention to detail is impressive, and I could tell the team here cares about maintaining the motel's history. If you’re a fan of mid-century design or just want a unique experience, I highly recommend staying here! It’s a rare gem where the past and present meet in such a charming way.
This property is STUNNING especially in the fall. Several food options around and a cute farmer's market near by. The hotel is so clean, quiet, and well maintained. We will definitely be back!
Lovely clean and spacious rooms. Lovely communal sitting area with tea/coffee as well as an atari machine! Lovely gardens in the hotel and beautuful viwes of the stars when its a clear night. We also received a lovely welcome pack, with some lovely goodies & watee. There are a couple of good restaurants within walking distance and even more 5 minutes drive away. Bibs dinner for brrakfast is just accross the street and its fabulous 👌
Best value inn to stay at in the Manchester area.
Quiet, big rooms and pretty wooded view by small stream. Mike was super friendly at check-in and suggested places to eat and things to do.
Extremely well maintained property. Everything was clean and well kept. It was like going back in time- the care and attention is far beyond what you see in chain hotels. I loved the real key, too! The grounds are stunning.
This is a roadside hotel/motel that is very well maintained and extremely clean. I would come again and is a great place if you need simple accommodations.
I absolutely loved the “vibe” of this place. It was super comfortable and spacious. The pool, hot tub and grounds were pristine and private. Although it was too warm for a fire, the lounge was inviting and fun, and made me want to return in colder weather to experience the fireplace. Mike was very nice and accommodating. I would definitely come stay again.
