After picking up my GF late from the train, we were greeted by the owner and asked if we wanted dinner the following evening. No cancellation fee was disclosed nor did we agree to one. After losing track of time the next day, we decided to go out for dinner instead. A call to Peter was not answered or returned. SO we found our own way. Upon return, we were told the bill needed to be settled right then. We were told check out is 10am and there would be no exceptions. We were given extra fees of 12$E each and told that we had "wasted food," along with burdening the staff to knock on our door 3 times. It was very rude and we left first thing, never receiving a new light bulb Peter said he would change or soap in the shower. We will not return

It is a pity that unfortunately, albeit very seldom, there are black sheep amongst the holiday makers who intentionally try to gain a financial advantage by trying to blackmail the rental business . As happened in your case, you offered during check-out at a discount of 50% to write a very good rating and if we don`t agree you will harm the operation with a noticeably bad rating!!! After I did not let myself be blackmailed, I asked you to leave because otherwise I would call the police.
You have booked one of our beautiful 5-star luxury apartments, which are currently the highest certified 5 star apartments in Germany.
It is correct that we personally realized that 1 that one out of 10 LED bulbs had failed in the living room I assured you that housekeeping will take care. Furthermore, you have personally asked me to reserve a table for the 3-course gala dinner in our Stüberl restaurant for the following evening.
Our highly decorated cuisine was recently awarded the title of best cuisine in the Berchtesgadener Land. Due to the fact that we have only a limited number of tables for our gala dinner evenings in our small but very fine Stüberl restaurant and the demand for it is immense, our guests will be pleased when booking a table for these evenings It is stated in the room booklets in the respective 5-star apartments that non-shows without prior guest cancellation will be charged US $ 12 per person.
At the Gala Dinner we offer our guests to appear between 7 and 9 p.m.
Housekeeping tried 5 times to change bulb and restaurant stuff tried 3 times to contact you until 9.30 p.m. but you never answered and never let some one in. Then you asked me for a late checkout, which I had to deny because of the next checkin in family waiting. After I did not let myself be blackmailed, I asked you to leave because otherwise I would call the police.

Publié le 9 oct. 2018 sur HotelsReally beautiful rooms and property. Great jacuzzi, pool, and spa area. We had a wonderful and restful stay. Like other reviewers have stated however, the owners will try to push a lot of dinners, breakfasts, tours, reservations, etc. on you, and you will definitely be paying more than you think for it. They never tried to trick us or anything, they were just a little pushy. Just be straightforward and if you’re traveling on a budget, do meals and tours on your own. Overall, our stay was lovely!
