Wonderful space
Publié le 30 août 2024 sur HomeAwayMy brother and his family came up to the Lake Gogebic area and I needed a pet friendly place to stay. So close to so many waterfalls in the area as well as Porcupine Mountain State Park. The hosts are amazing and live next door so if there were any issues -- it was easy to contact them. They are very welcoming. I felt completely at home here.

Snowless in Bergland
Publié le 11 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayEverything was pretty much as presented in the description. The owner kept in communication with me, asking if I needed anything. It’s an older home, but she has kept it up and it had everything you needed.
We went there to snowmobile, unfortunately for the first time in decades, there was no snow. The only issue is the location is on the highway, and even though it is in town, log trucks rolled through all night, if you’re a light sleeper it could be a problem. All being said, we’ll try again next year.

The house is close to everything you need. Gas, groceries store, Bar and Restaurants. No driving needed. We are working on replacing the windows to cut down on the noise.

Snowmobile trip

The house was clean and there was plenty of room for our trucks and sled trailers . 2 blocks from the trail , bars , lake and gas station. We will be returning to the Bergland blue rental !! Thanks again

Family vacation in the UP

Excellent place for families
Publié le 11 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe Bergland Blue House was a great centralized location for our travels. The house had so many extras available that it really lightened our load while packing. For example, there were enough towels for our family of 7. The kitchen was fully equipped and made our vacation so much more streamlined. We just had to bring the food. Literally everything else was already in the kitchen. The table had enough seating that we could all eat our usual family dinner after our day of exploring. Deb even purchased a highchair so our little lady would have her own seat at the table. Thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful place to stay on our summer vacation. . . hoping to come back soon!

Perfect UP place to stay!
Publié le 26 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe so enjoyed this house. It was clean and very well stocked. It was so convenient to have a washer/dryer and the hot water never ran out! The Dollar General across the street was great. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Porcupine Mountains/western UP. Thank you!
