This delightful apartment is right in the historic heart of Berwick-upon-Tweed, yet just far enough outside the inner town centre so you can avoid the everyday busyness, yet be in the middle of it within a minute or so. Located on the ground floor of the building, Heron Apartment is easily accessible after parking, and the apartment itself is the ideal base from which you can explore the delights of this stunning part of the country. With the beaches of Northumberland and rolling hills of the Scottish borders both easily accessible, you’ll never be short of things to do. The town itself is steeped in history and has a plethora of activities on offer whatever the weather.

The accommodation is well equipped, modern and tastefully presented. The comfy sofas in the living room are perfect for collapsing on after an exhausting day out. The kitchen has the appliances you’d expect, including the all important dishwasher, and the dining area is ideal for fuelling up before going out. That said, the amount of café’s and restaurants within a few minutes walk suggest you’d perhaps dine out more than in. The larger of the two bedrooms provides a kingsize bed, while the second room has a comfy double. For the days the weather is a little less ’holiday’, the superfast broadband will make some internet based entertainment that little bit more enjoyable and reliable.
