Excellent accommodation
Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayHighly recommend, very comfortable, well equipped and ideally situated for exploring the coast. Holy Island, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Budle Bay, Embleton and Cocklawburn beaches. We used the excellent public transport to Alnwick then onto Amble. Would definately stay here again.

Superbly maintained lovely holiday house. Well equipped. Owners have thought of absolutely everything and more. Comfortable stay. You couldn’t ask for more. Clear instructions on everything. Very spacious, airy and light. Delightful, I would definitely recommend to others and stay there again. Can’t praise enough. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Friendly pub with nice food round the corner - The Lindisfarne Inn also petrol station with Londis shop. Cottage very comfortable with everything we needed

Enjoyable stay
Publié le 4 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe kitchen was very well equipped. Plenty of good size pots and pans, a food processor, mini chopper etc. Cooking was easy with everything readily to hand. Only one towel provided per person for the week so I would suggest bringing spares as they can take a while to dry. The house is in a good location on the road leading out to Holy Island with a nice outdoor space. Fuel station in close proximity. Sadly we were cut off for a planned power outage, however the property owner was unaware and kindly offered us a partial refund. It was a very enjoyable stay. The only negative for us was the amount of dog hair on the carpet and the smell of dog when the house was warm. A quick blitz with a carpet cleaner would be marvellous. Thank-you for hosting us!

Holiday at Lindisfarne
