Everything Was Great Except...!
Publié le 18 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe have been to this resort before but stayed previously in a townhome in the main part of the resort because we had our kids and grandkids with us. This time, because it was just my wife and I, we stayed in one of the high rise buildings directly on the beach...Dover House 806. Everything was as described including the too soft mattress on the primary bedroom bed that other people had also commented on. Other than that the unit was set up with everything you need for an enjoyable stay; and we did enjoy our stay. The only thing I did not enjoy was the fact that a brand new pair of Nike shorts, which I had bought at the outlet store and never worn was left on the kitchen counter and not returned to me. I had just taken the tags off in the kitchen and was distracted while packing to go home and I left them on the kitchen counter and forgot to pack them. I cotacted Vacasa, who in turn contacted housekkeping. Housekeeping said it was a private cleaning person who cleaned thi owner's unit and she said she did not find my shorts. Well, both my wife and I knew I left them there and exacty where they were left. Apparently the cleaner must have needed them more than I did. As much as that irks me, I would not hesitate to return to Sea Colony in the future. Note to owner...you might want to find a new cleaning person!

Great off-season weekend at the beach
Publié le 2 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family (kids ages 6 & 9) and two adults stayed at this great location on the beach. Many amenities were closed, but the heated indoor pool and outdoor pools were perfect. Location is ideal for biking along the Bethany boardwalk nearby and walking right on to the beach. Quiet during off-season is also a plus for families.

Mother's day trip

Great apartment with a view
Publié le 7 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayWe went in late April when the colony was below capacity, but the ocean water was too cold to venture in. Luckily my two teenage boys were content with basking in the sun on the beach and playing soccer while using the indoor heated pool right next to Dover house in the adjacent building as the substitute.

Relaxing weekend
Publié le 24 avr. 2022 sur HomeAwayOverall we enjoyed our stay. The view is great from the large balcony, living room and master bedroom. The unit itself is bigger than it seems in the photos. As others have mentioned it is a bit dated - a new couch and some updates to the kitchen would go a long way, but it was clean and otherwise pretty cozy. The master bed was more comfortable than expected with a memory foam topper.
The private beach with Sea Colony was wonderful and still pretty empty in late April.

Girls getaway for Retirement
Publié le 16 mai 2021 sur HomeAwayLocation was fabulous. Guest bathroom had issues with flushing. Oven was not too clean. Overall we would stay here again.
