This is a beautifully appointed condo with wonderful direct ocean views. We have never had such a well stocked kitchen or nearly as much living room seating any place else. It was wonderful. However, we had a toilet that we manually had to stop running as well as mildew issues in both bathrooms. When we came into the apartment, the toilet was already running. Perhaps housekeeping should have reported it and spent a little more time working on the mildew.. Thank you for a beautiful place to stay.

Beautiful location -- a few issues for Property Management to address

This unit is a great location -- right on the beach, and you can hear the surf even while sitting inside in the living room area. We were there in mid-September, just after the close of "peak season' so a few of the Sea Colony amenities (the tram, the on-property convenience store, some of the outdoor pools) were not available which is just something to be aware of if you are going off season. The first evening we discovered that there was no flat sheet on the king bed in the master bedroom - just a fitted sheet and a comforter. I called the Resort Quest office the next morning and a full set of sheets was delivered later that day. The next night the smoke detector in the master bedroom went of at 3AM, then 4 AM, and then for a third time, at which point my husband took it off the wall and removed the battery. We called the next day and Resort Quest sent someone later that morning to change the battery in just that one unit...fortunately the other units did not subsequently disrupt our sleep. When looking for some cleaning supplies, we checked the hall closet containing the hot water heater and the AC unit and discovered an absolutely filthy AC filter....fortunately there was also a spare filter which we took it upon ourselves to change...seems like property management should be taking care of that. Kitchen was adequately equipped, although the On/Off switch on the coffeemaker was broken - as soon as you plugged it in, it was ready to brew! The TV in the living room was only showing the Weather Channel, as there was some sort of TIVO box hooked up to it and apparently that service was not active....not that you go to the beach to watch TV, but it should be properly functioning. Each visitor is responsible for emptying the frig, running the dishwasher and tidying up - pretty standard stuff, but I 'm not sure who does the deep cleaning. There were crumbs on the kitchen floor and hairs on the bathroom floor when we arrived, so we made sure to leave the unit cleaner than we found it. Still a great location with a beautiful view -- just need to ensure that the property is properly maintained.
