Charging for parking has an extremely negative perception. It hurts the brand. Intuitively it screams greed, bottom line revenue or struggling financially. Please remove the additional parking fee, it’s like we are offsetting your personal property taxes.

Absolutely magnificent. Comfortable, well appointed room, with every necessity to make our stay comfortable. The room was also beautifully decorated. Great water pressure, suoer comfortable luxurious beds. Just a dream. Friendly front desk, lovely lobby, wonderful breakfast, safe area.

This is still my 'go-to' hotel in Rockville and I usually stay there about 12-15 nights per year when visiting relatives. Rooms are clean, large and very comfortable. Front desk is friendly and helpful. They've started charging for parking ($10/day) but it's not excessive and they are back to doing housekeeping every night. Convenient location on a quiet cul de sac with no through traffic.

The location was good and close to our destination. The room was fine, clean, and fairly comfortable. However, the bedcovers were thin and inadequate; there was no extra blanket provided for warmth. The $10 per night parking charge and the “resort” fee were ridiculous. They are annoying examples of the junk fees multi-billion dollar corporations add on in order to squeeze a little more from customers. If Marriott needs to pad their bottom line, why not just add $10 to the room rate and advertise “free parking”? It would at least be a better PR move.
