Millers and Rosie's cottages are adjoining self catering cottages peacefully located within the glorious north Devon countryside. They are in an area of great interest and sits on the edge of the quiet rural hamlet of Woolsery but is just a short drive from breath taking north Devon beaches and the English Heritage coastline, popular with bird watchers and walkers. The properties are adjacent to the owners farmhouse as part of a 45 acre beef farm but offers much privacy within its own enclosed gardens with children's play areas. The famous surfing beaches of Westward Ho! and Bude are an easy drive and for family fun The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Parks are close by. The pretty historic port town of Bideford is just 9 miles and offers town amenities and boat trips to Lundy Island. For walking and cycling the famous Tarka trail is close by. Horse riding is available nearby and there is a local shop and fish and chip shop less than 1 mile away, within walking distance. Both properties are very well equipped and provide a high standard of accommodation. There is ample off road parking. All linen and towels are included in the price of the booking. Both properties have central heating, cot and high chair available on request, Freeview TV, DVD player, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer and washing lines. Both properties have access to mature gardens and to the private indoor heated swimming pool and is available for use all day, every day. At the end of the gardens is a play field for children with climbing frame/slide and trampoline. Garden chairs provided to allow you to sit back and relax in the beautiful surroundings. WiFi access in both properties. The farm has a number of different types of poultry and peacocks for you to see if you are interested. Pets can be accommodated but only by prior arrangement with the owners. Both properties are Non smoking.
Rosie's cottage is a barn conversion which sleeps 4 people. It has two bedrooms; one double with en-suite shower room and a twin room with a shower in the room. It has a separate family bathroom situated downstairs, which has been newly refitted in 2014. The lounge has an electric fire effect heater, TV with Freeview and DVD player. The kitchen was newly refitted in 2014 and has a dining table and chairs. There is access to a washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate store room and there is a lawned area with garden furniture, washing line and children's play frame available for the cottages use.
