Oktoberfest Retreat
Publié le 8 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Lil Green Cabin exceeded our expectations. The cabin is in a nice quiet neighborhood nestled among beautiful pine trees. We really enjoyed our stay and found it to be warm, cozy and super clean. We had one minor issue which Randelle addressed and resolved promptly. We definitely would consider staying at the Lil Green Cabin in the future. Our thanks to Randelle and Gabriela

Quaint Mountain Cabin
Publié le 2 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe quintessential mountain cabin...with all it's knotty pine throughout the inside...great mountain vibe...a great place to come and unwind..the neighborhood itself is very quiet...peaceful and relaxing...highly recommend it...we'll BE BACK!

Big bear retreat

Wedding Weekend

A couple of short comings, no facial tissues in bathroom along with no wash cloths and bar soap. Also the master bedroom closet unusable due to the amount of stuff stored in it.

Allan, disappointing to read you reduced our long standing cabin to 3 Stars due to unseasonably warm weather, which is obviously beyond our control, "facial tissues" and bar soap (which we have never claimed to provide) and a large double closet (in both bedrooms) that did not seem to satisfy you.

Almost very good
Publié le 28 juin 2024 sur HomeAwaycutest cabin in Big Bear. However, it is summer now and it was quite a surprise to see all brown everywhere. The comforter was brown faux fur. ugh. sheets etc . Surprising also was the direction of the owner to wash and dry all dishes and put away, after we paid for cleaning.
I do want to stress though, nice location, quiet, beautiful trees, loved sitting on the deck. Needs to clear up a couple of things, that's all.

Thanks Rita for your 4-Star review, I will say that in over 200 5-Star Reviews you and Richard are one of the very few giving Lil Green Bear 4-Stars, but we'll take it and are glad enjoyed our cabin overall. On your two issues: Brown is our cabin theme and has been since 2012, our numerous recurring guests expect it, the current bedding is for this season as nights are still getting down into the low 50's in the mountains. With mountain insects, rodents etc. it is standard in Big Bear to have guests clean up after themselves in the kitchen, we don't think that is asking too much, our minimum cleaning fee is for the washing of your bedding & towels, removal of trash and cleaning up after our guests in general. In any case we hope to see you next time. Randelle & Gabby

Cozy cabin!

Peaceful cottage
Publié le 27 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayso cute and well done with care and love. Neighborhood was so very quite. We had a very peaceful 4 day stay, just what we were looking for. I would have liked more light to read, but did it on front porch and back patio. We stay again on next Big Bear visit. Host is super nice.

Hi Nyla, so glad you enjoyed your week at Lil Green Bear and thanks for the 5-Star review! We installed 4 bright new recessed can lights in the living room just last month, they are on dimmers and get super bright for reading, maybe you didn't adjust them up all the way, well next time!
