Fantastic Family Home

My family and I had a great time staying there. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and the house was perfect. It was very easy to communicate with the property manager/hosts. It was very clean and well stocked with all the amenities that we needed. We felt very cozy from the time we arrived til the time we left. We didn’t want or need for anything. We liked that we were close to everything, whether walking to the slopes, or driving to the village. Thank you for being such great hosts and providing such a great experience. It truly was a Sweet Spot, and we will definitely stay again if we make another trip to Big Bear.

Home description accurate. Good location and quiet neighborhood. All necessities within 10 minutes of the home. Bedrooms, kitchen and bath clean and comfortable. What would increase the rating of this home would be a thorough, deep cleaning inside and out. Minor yet notable areas needing attention. Spiderwebs (and their meals) are inside the home by the main deck and living room. Outside too needs to have spider webs removed from light fixtures, bbq and outside seating area. Bbq propane needs to be refilled. Living room needs blinds for privacy and to block sunlight (no a/c in the unit and day temp was 84). Kitchen well equipped but skillets not cleaned having visible food stuck to the pans. Overall a nice place that was good for a quick vacation. It just needs a little attention.

Quiet neighborhood!

Had a wonderful stay. By far the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. I usually I wash all the dishes etc upon arrival and wipe down the bathrooms, but surprised myself it wasn't necessary. Only negative is we were there over the 4th of July and it was unusually HOT. This house does not have air conditioning. (Most houses in BB probably don't have air) Found some fans, but the house didn't cool off until the wee hours of the morning. Would stay here again!

Big Bear

This is a beautiful property in a lovely location. It is decorated tastefully and the furnishings are comfortable. I would say it sleeps 6-7 comfortably. We had the allowed 8 and we had to sleep one adult on a futon and one teen on the couch. But no one complained…it was ok. We laughed a little because there are about 40 wine glasses but only 6 forks. I loved relaxing on the deck with some tea, listening to the breeze through the trees and the wind chimes. Would stay here again with a party of 6.

Great stay for Big Bear

My friends and I came here for a weekend getaway; the stay was beautiful and incredibly clean, but honestly the lady at the Destination Big Bear counter was pretty rude upon check-in, and there were so many rules, regulations, and threats of fines that I was kind of stressed out trying to make sure my group adhered to all of them. Otherwise, the place is so clean, spacious, and nice to stay in; we had a blast other than the strict rules. They had speedy wifi that I was able to do some virtual work meetings on Friday; heating/cooling system was perfect; electronic entertainment was fine; and kitchen was just perfect for our group. Bedding/towels were clean, and the washer/dryer in unit was pretty useful.

The rental property was impeccable, photos matched the house with exact precision. It was cleaned, well maintained , gorgeous. I had a few details to go over and a very helpful and a gracious staff member from the property management office, responded with clarification immediately. The Sweet Spot it is

This beautiful house is appropriately named the Sweet Spot. My husband and I spent a great weekend with five teens at this lovely house. This house is in the Moonridge area of Big Bear (very close to Bear Mountain and the zoo). The house appears to have been recently renovated throughout and looks professionally decorated. The furnishings and decor are beautiful throughout and contributed to relaxing get-away. The teens largely took over the first-floor large room, which comfortably sleeps 4. The second floor has the kitchen and family room and one bathroom. The third floor has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house felt very spacious for our group of 7. The kitchen was well appointed and even had a Keurig for morning coffee. There is also a washer and dryer in the house. We ran into one minor issue, and the property management company was very accessible, staying open until 10 pm with a maintenance team if needed. We hope to stay here again!
