I absolutely loved the place but the last night the air conditioning was not working in the bedroom and it was hot my son was running a marathon the next morning and had to get up at 330! And couldn’t sleep cuz it was hot! So that ruined it a bit other than that it was beautiful!

Some items were in disrepair. Sometimes there was an oder coming from bathroom from septic system but this is something that cannot be controlled, just something to note and be aware of. All in all, great stay and well done on their end. Purchased own ceramic coated pan from local grocery store due to many scratches and wear on the house pans. Hot water, cable tv, cold AC and refrigerator. Nice people. Woukd stay again

Our stay in cabin 9 (turquoise one) was great. This cabin was perfect for our needs and we brought two dogs with us, no issues with that. We loved our stay but to be transparent this is really no frills. There is no sink sponge, no aluminum foil no nothing extra in the kitchen so bring your own!! The mattresses are VERY firm. There were a few small cosmetic issues that could be addressed in this cabin that would make a huge difference, example, crooked drawer front in kitchen, pinned drapes in bedroom, all small issues. IMO, all the land cabins are great. The boat rooms maybe not so much. There is currently what appears to be a stalled large construction project on the property of a raised tiki and stilt two story building that back up to the boat houses. Kinda unsightly and not a big deal with the land cabins but if you are expecting a lovely water view from your houseboat you won’t be getting that. Overall, a great place for our purposes and we hope to be back soon. The key deer are amazing!

Unique hotel with early communication from the owners. Definitely not a quiet location as we heard lots of loud marina-related boat noises all night. A great place to sleep with ear plugs. The shower was quite small and challenging to warm (like an RV shower). All showers were lukewarm. Also, there are very limited dining options nearby, so vacationers to the keys who are not cooking their meals on-site daily will likely be driving to Key West (30 miles away) a good deal of their time here.

Loved this stay!!! May not be for everyone but we loved the rustic feel and being away from the crowds!!! The staff was very friendly and our cabin on the water was comfy and cozy! Would definitely stay again.

Views were beautiful. Houseboat was nice but there was construction on the property. We also had a few small worms inside the living area floor. Decaying sea grass smelled bad.
