On your own 6-acre private Grass Lake. Amazing views of two lakes! 65 amazing acres with over 2+ miles of private hiking/snow shoeing/cross country skiing trails. Great fishing (Lake is stocked) loaded with Bass, Crappie, Northern Pike and Panfish with dock and use of low-tech fishing boat provided complimentary. Plus a paddle board, canoe and two new kayaks...all included. Large Master Bedroom with King Bed, heated floors in bathroom and private deck, upper level large Bedroom with new King Bed and third with three comfortable beds...two Full and One Twin. Two other pull-out couches. Two blow up mattress beds just in case. Lodge can sleep 12 comfortably depending upon make-up of group and up to 14 with adjacent Carriage House. Gourmet kitchen, dining and family room with incredible sound system throughout the house and outdoors. New Wifi throughout. Screened-in porch and dining deck with new table with10 chairs with grill overlooking both lakes. Indoor bar and Outdoor covered bars area named “Grass Lake Tavern”. "Game Room" with new pool table, new ping pong, shuffleboard, putting green, sound system, TV, kitchenette and comfortable seating area. Two fire pit areas with outdoor music. New hot tub! Heavenly retreat!

What an amazing property and location. My wife and two teens spent an amazing week fishing, playing games in the game room and relaxing. The owners are wonderful people who truly care about making sure renters have everything they need. Communication was outstanding and fast. They truly paid attention to small details that really helps renters like labeling all the light switches in the cabin so you know what lights you were turning on. We were also welcomed with a smores kit, information about the cabin and things to do very well laid out and some many other little things the owners do that really makes you feel like they truly care. We only rented the main cabin and was impressed with how clean and well maintained everything was. The layout is great for families and big groups. We spent a lot of time downstairs in the game room playing pool, ping pong, shuffleboard and video games (New machine delivered right before we got there). We spent our days on the dock and in the boat fishing on the private lake. My son caught a very nice pike right off the doc. I could go on and on, to many great things to list. If you want a quiet location to relax in a beautiful cabin this is your place! We're already trying to figure out when we can come back!

Amazing Hosts, Views & Experience!

My now-husband and I booked the Grass Lake Lodge for an intimate family wedding. The house and property are absolutely gorgeous; the view of the lake is visible through huge windows and it was so nice to wake up to every day. Bob and Karen have clearly thought through every detail of hosting guests; from a welcoming note & surprise gift upon check-in to keeping the bathrooms plentifully stocked with lotion, shampoo & conditioner. The basement offered plenty of 'friendly' competition and entertainment with the pool table, the ping pong table and a large TV, and of course, a walk-out to the hot tub. The hot tub was so relaxing, and the location offered a nice view of the lake while being close to the house. Loved being able to listen to music through the built-in system! Bob & Karen were gracious enough to allow us to have this small event, and were so awesome through the entire booking & checking-in process, even making several recommendations for local food & bartending services for the wedding which turned out to be amazing. If you stay here, we highly recommend using the 'GLL Extras' for bartending (Celeste) & The Blue Cow for the Private Chef experience. The caretakers were friendly and took great care of the place, even coming to help us when one of the speakers on-site wasn't working properly. We definitely plan on staying here again. Bob and Karen are AMAZING hosts!! Thank you again for trusting us with doing something a bit outside the norm on your property. :)

Family Fun

The Grass Lake Lodge is everything it’s advertised to be. We showed up and our black lab immediately “zoomied out” running around the yard and jumping in the lake. The grandchildren enjoyed the sandy beach, as well as some boat rides throughout the week. We swam, we hiked, we fished, we enjoyed the evening by the Grass, Lake Tavern, and then we slept…Repeat. weather cooperated. Communication was great throughout the week. Thanks Bob and Karen.

Great place

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. The entire house was beautiful. There was plenty of room for the ten of us. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We utilized the grocery deliver service and all the food and drinks were put away and chilled by the time we got there. There was plenty of outdoor sitting space and the grounds were well maintained. Everyone enjoyed the fishing. I would note that we couldn’t wade into the water due to thick vegetation, but it wasn’t a problem as we had older kids who enjoyed jumping off the end of the dock and spent a lot of time in the water. The playroom was a bonus and well used on the rainy days. The place was amazing!

Great Place to Getaway!

We couldn’t have imagined a better place to have a better time! The great accommodations and hospitality that Bob and his family extended to us is unmatched! I’ve never stayed in a place where the owner was so involved in making sure you were all set from a couple days beforehand to during and afterwards. The game room was an immediate draw as was the sheer beauty of the property, lake and views. Can’t wait to go back next year!!

love the lodge

This was our second year staying at Grass Lake Lodge and plan on staying again next year. You couldn't ask for better owners and managers. Didn't have much ice for skating this year but took advantage of the trails in the woods. Would recommend it to anyone, especially families.

Annual Girls Weekend

Fabulous place & host. Lots to do, game room, hot tub, woods, tiki bar, waterfront, etc. We all absolutely loved this place! It is beautiful, comfy beds, amazing Master Bath & Bedroom which was great for my mother-in-law not to have to do stairs. Fall colors were pretty but we all now want to come back in Summer to utilize the lake. Communication was awesome & very personal. Then with massage put the relaxation over the top! Thanks for sharing this beautiful home for everyone to enjoy!

We loved our time at Grass Lake Lodge

We celebrated my parents 60th Anniversary the past few days at Bob and Karen’s beautiful Grass Lake Lodge. We had such a great time just hanging together. The views - family - fun - laughs - stories - campfires - games, in the game room and cards at all the tables. The whole family enjoyed it so much - my parents even took the paddle boat out. As I have said to many - it was way better to actually be there than any of the great pictures. Kudos to Sabrina and Damien too - they were awesome to welcome us and they do a great job keeping all looking so awesome.

Fantastic, Family Fun, Fishing

What a great location for exclusive fishing on the private lake and used our boat to access nearby lake. Our granddaughter loved the sandy beach area. The lodge offers lots of room for families to spread out and enjoy the game room, trails and hot tub. We also had the carriage house as a quiet retreat for our daughter's family. We loved that it was pet friendly. Everything we needed was available and we have booked again for next year!

Great week at a great spot ...

Our second visit to Grass Lake Lodge was as good as the first, last year. Had our family of 6 adults and 5 kids from 2 to 11 years old and the house is set up to allow the kids to play in the lower level while the big folks hang out on the main floor. The property is very nice with the small sand beach and two fire pits for s'mores after a day on the lake. We utilized all the water toys, especially the row boat, paddle boat and paddle board which had a repaired fin that was missing last year. Makes for a much easier paddle! Great communication with Bob, Damien and Sabrina during our stay and the house was clean and top notch when we arrived. Only miss was the ice dispenser on the frig wasn't working (the Achilles heel of any frig) so we worked around the issue with no problem. Figured out how to lower the adjustable basketball hoop for some shot arounds and the kids enjoyed the hammock and hot tub immensely. Hope to return in 2024!

Fantastic in every way!

This place was fantastic. The house was well equipped, a full kitchen, lots of towels and beach towels, well decorated and so comfortable. The game room was perfect. But the best for us was the outdoors with a deck off the main level looking out to the lake, a sand beach for the kids to play, the water boats (paddle board, canoe and row boat), and that great dock that reached out into the private lake. We spent many hours fishing from this dock in the morning and evening, with the little kids continually catching small fish and the adults catching much larger fish. It was catch and release for us and such an enjoyable fishing experience. The accommodations were definitely worth the price. We’ll be heading back on our next family vacation.

Fantastic getaway!

This lodge is truly designed as a peaceful vacation getaway! It has everything including quality hair, bath, and body products. It not only looks clean but also smells clean and fresh. The open layout from the kitchen to the dining and living areas works well. Our three generation family enjoyed the amount of space and all the great amenities - hot tub, boats, beach, fishing, fire pit, and especially the game room! Caretakers Damien and Sabrina are the best! This is unlike any place we've stayed before; other houses had quirky, lower quality additions/renovations to convert them to vacation rentals, but none of that here.

Perfect family getaway

The whole process was super simple from payment, to check in, communication and check out. First day coffee pot was acting up, she brought a new one over that afternoon. The location is close to town for groceries and donuts and yet far enough away to be secluded. Lots of water activities for all. House is beautiful and the game room had it all. Wish I could have toured the wine cellar.

We had an amazing stay at the Grass Lake Lodge. The house and the yard far exceeded our expectations. We’ve stayed at a number of properties over the years, and this was our favorite by far. The lodge itself is such a nice house. The lake setting is so peaceful, but we kept busy with fishing, boats, all the games downstairs and the hot tub. We’d come back in a heartbeat. This is a secret I would like to keep but I think the word is out. This is an outstanding property. Stunning home with all the amenities required to make for a wonderful home away from home. We loved it and plan to return. The owner and the property manager were so easy to work with. First class all the way.
