Spend your days skiing, hiking, and fishing, and your nights at this Big Sky townhouse, a three-bedroom retreat with a private hot tub, a deck with a gas grill and a view of the mountains, and an ideal location less than a mile from the lifts. Additionally, with the ski shuttle access literally just steps out the front door, you can ski all day without parking concerns.

You'll find this townhome at the Alpenglow Condominiums, a tree-lined property on the edge of Big Sky Mountain Village. Walk three-quarters of a mile to spend winter days on the resort's 300 named ski runs, 24 chair lifts, and four interconnected mountains; return each summer for majestic day trips into Yellowstone National Park 58 miles south.

Leave your boots by the door and come inside to find hardwood floors, free WiFi, a washer/dryer, and granite countertops in the kitchen (with a dishwasher). Light the gas grill on the deck for a barbecue dinner, soak your tired muscles in the hot tub, and spend the evening curled up by the gas fireplace and watching Netflix/HBO favorites on one of the five cable TVs (guests must have their own streaming accounts).

Skiing great, unfortunately little snow, only 2 lifts open. Easy short drive to parking lot at base of mountain. In season there are shuttles. Good restaurants, but we also used the great kitchen of the house and the hot tub.

Great location in big sky! Our stay was great. The chalet had all of the essentials and was what we needed for our trip. The only disadvantage was the primary bedroom’s mattress, it was very uncomfortable, and you can unfortunately hear the loud neighbor through the walls at night. These minor things wouldn’t detour me from staying here again but they could be improved.

Beautiful home and location!

We loved our stay here! Beautiful home and gorgeous location! We slept comfortably and enjoyed the hot tub. The WiFi was fast. Only thing keeping it from a 5 star rating was a few maintenance issues. Of the 6 bedroom/bathroom doors with locks the only lock that worked was the downstairs master bathroom. Also, the light in the downstairs shower didn't work.

Mountain escape

This property is nice but needs some TLC. Upon arrival we noticed there were no blinds on the master bedroom door, a light bulb was out in the master shower and the kitchen had several bulbs out which made the kitchen very dark. It took many days for anyone to address these issues and the only thing that was ultimately fixed when we were still there was the light bulb in the master bath. Many windows are hard to open and almost impossible to close due to missing or broken crank handles. Additionally, the walls are very thin and you can hear noise clearly through the wall. The location of the condo is perfect if you want a more remote place to stay as you have to cross a busy road to get to the base of the mountain or drive 10 minutes to get to town center.

We enjoy our stay in this beautiful unit. The unit was very clean and well stocked. The location is perfect. Amazing views. There were a couple of issues; another renter had the same garage code and was able to enter our unit, that was unnerving. The lighting in the kitchen is very dim. No instructions on how to use the fireplace. We were not able to open the window in the upstairs bedroom and it got very warm during the night

Nice location, property as advertised. Beds were made, but sheets hadn’t been washed. Cleaning service throughout the entire property was pretty shoddy (fridge was dirty, coffee pot hadn’t been emptied or cleaned, etc)

Not the cleanest, good location

The condo was laid out well and had all the amenities we desired. However, it was very dusty and dirty. Bed sheets were not changed and when we called, they simply left a bag of sheets at the front door. It should be cleaned better and linens need to be replaced. Also had a hard time getting shuttle information. All in all, still a great week in big sky, but would prefer a bit cleaner and better response to issues.

Beautiful Stay in Big Sky!

We LOVED this townhouse! Location was great, it's furnished well and has a warm feel to it. The hot tub was fantastic. Neighbors are all so nice too. We saw the resident fox both nights of our stay! Two notes- the master shower and upstairs shower do not drain well. Also, the property management company is not easy to get in touch with. I had a typo in my email address and it took me way to long to get it corrected so I could get info about our stay. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we would stay again!!

Beautiful condo with spectacular views!

This is such a beautiful condo! The only problem we had was finding a contact number to have some fix the internet. Someone did come on our last day, but we never did have internet access. Other than that our stay was comfortable and more than expected as far as nice furniture, appliances, just everything! The heated garage was so nice and all the places to put ski gear and warm boots and gloves. I really cant say enough about this wonderful home! We will certainly book this property again!

Five stars, everything we could want and more. Great location, great layout, all the technology you could want, and still mountain rustic charm. Only thing we could have wanted was more wine glasses, but we may have a wine drinking problem, so..... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Perfect location in Big Sky- Wonderful amenities- Exceptional ski mountain

We stayed at the chalet in March 2018- The place is very stylish and comfortable with plenty of seating on couches and on two easy chairs in living room opposite the fireplace. Excellent reading light in corner and there are Montana/western themed books and short stories for readers to choose from. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are conformable, there are ample towels. A bonus is that the hot tub is always ready. In addition, the house is on a public transportation loop so you could come and go on the bus- the schedule was in the house. We mostly drove the 1/2 mile to the free Big Sky parking lot. We will definitely be coming back at our next trip to Big Sky. The owner also was also helpful about activities in the area.
