Hot tub issue but management did eventually take care of the issue.
Some door handles loose, cable not working in 1 room.

Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HomeAwayNice property, had to call because garbage outside was not taken care of. Electrical outlets in kitchen were not working. Mirror fell on one of the vacationers because it was not mounted to wall. The lights above the hot tub are not to code don’t have them on if in tub could cause issues. The property was good. They should have a note to explain how to turn off heated floors not needed for summer. Confusing on how to contact owner, but a nice enough. Asked them if they had hair dryer told no, but there was indeed two. Thank you for the rental it served its purpose.

Big Sky Trip
Publié le 14 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayI appreciated the well, appointed kitchen. Everything we needed to cook gourmet meals, serve meals and store leftovers was available. There was plenty of room for all the guests to have their own space too. We had 3 vehicles and the driveway accommodated them. The garage had ample space as well. I would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful Location and Spacious Home

Kitchen was well stocked, and they provided plenty of toiletries and linens. The carpet could use a cleaning. A few lights were out in the kitchen. New furniture in the main gathering area was very comfortable. Hot tub was great. They could improve the plowing on the driveway and shoveling around the stairs and deck/balcony.
We really enjoyed our stay and the property was well located.

Great House, Poor Management

The main downside is the fridge and freezer had a horrible fish smell. We contacted the property manager VACASA on multiple occasions and they did nothing. Overall, great house but lackluster management.

Publié le 27 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayWe rented this home to house family while they were in town for the weekend. We had several issues that led to missed expectations and a poor rating.
First, there was a pile of stinky garbage in the garage when we checked in. Garbage needs to be kept in the garage due to bears, and I was surprised to see the trash cans overflowing with food and household trash from previous guests.
Some other reviews spoke of cobwebs and other signs of wear. Vacasa replied saying that these problems would be addressed. They have not been addressed. Lamp shades and decorations around the house haven't been dusted for quite a while and it shows with spider webs and grime.
Smoke alarms in the basement have been disconnected. The screen door leading to the hot tub is busted from what looks like someone's foot having gone through the screen.
The majority of the sleeping areas are in the basement. Six of our 9 guests were sleeping there. There is a locked utility closet in that space. Around 1am an alarm began sounding from inside the closet. It would go off every 73 seconds (Yes, I timed it as I was laying awake in the middle of the night) making it nearly impossible to sleep. The listing claims that there are local managers, but we didn't find this to be true outside of business hours. I called the host using the number in the listing. After waiting on hold for 17 minutes, the call center told me that they would be unable to get a manager to the property before 10 or 11am the next morning. There was no commitment of a refund or help to offset the inconvenience. Instead it will be up to the local manager to come in afterward, assess the situation and decide if a refund will be given.
We love the area, and enjoy hosting guests during the summer and winter. I'll be choosing a local host next time and avoid the "professional" management companies.
