Nice location but inconvenient parking, closed amenities, very late check in time of 5pm!

The room had a murphy bed which pulled down from the wall ... it was very uncomfortable. Kind of like sleeping on a pull out couch. When making a reservation this should be communicated. Not happy that there wasn't a normal bed in the room. Deceiving for sure.

Dear Christina, Thank you for leaving a review of the Summit Hotel. We're so sorry to hear that you felt deceived by the Murphy Bed in the 1 Queen room. We do our best to describe our rooms as accurately as possible with the options available to us through Expedia and appreciate that sometimes that it is not as clear as it could be. Our 1 Queen studios do use the same mattress as all the standard beds in the hotel to ensure that they are as comfortable as possible and will continue looking for ways to clearly describe this for our guests!

Enjoyed being at the property generally speaking. It wasn't as grand as I was expecting...entrance blah, lobby blah, self parking confusing. Staff was very kind and helpful, food was good, but VERY expensive. Location a bit remote for a summetime visit to Big Sky, would be great for a winter ski trip though.

Had a great stay at the Summit Hotel at Big Sky. Property was great (other than pool, etc that were closed for maintenance). The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Particular shout out to Zach, who helped us with our luggage the first day. Incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. He made us feel very welcomed and we felt like we had been his friend for many years. He was very helpful with recommendations for things to do in the area, hikes, etc. He's a true asset to the Summit Hotel!

The remodel or refresh of the units is fine, not high quality you would expect for a resort. The pool/gym were closed, if we had known we would have choose a different property that had that onsite, they expected us to walk to other properties to enjoy those amenities at one of there oldest properties it the same experience I choose price and amenities wise. They don’t offer parking in the lot in front, you can pay for valet or park and walk across the entire resort to get to this property.
