Civil War Battlefield trip with sons and brother
Publié le 13 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe home was old but served its purpose well. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was a little further from the Gettysburg battlefield than I would have preferred but it was the closest I could find that offered 4 beds which we needed. One bathroom was a challenge but we worked around it. The only negative was the street noise from the crossing where the house was located. No one was staying in the other rental above us so we were not distracted by any noise above us. I would recommend it if asked about it.

Couldn’t be happier!

We decided to VRBO and I found the Rested Rooster property and couldn’t be happier! Communicating with Danielle was so easy. The beds were comfortable. The house was clean. Essentials to stay us out were there waiting for us AND the coffee was delicious! Check-in was simple as was check-out. We plan to make reservations to stay here again next year. I highly recommend this property.

Publié le 5 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayEasy access to all Gettysburg's events, beautiful house. Big, very clean, outdoor fire pit, alot of yard room, beautiful and calm surroundings. Traffic is moderate in that area but quiets down at night. We had a great time and will return.

Cozy Country Getaway
Publié le 11 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayEnjoyed our trip with our doggo. The downstairs rental had surprisingly large bedrooms and a very large bathroom, which was nice where we had little ones running around.
It's a historic building so if you like the vintage charm and quirks, it's great and a great value. If you're accustomed to more polished accommodations, this may not be for you. the yard is huge and my kids had fun playing in the snow. Also, there are goats next door. Did I mention the goats?
