The staff was very nice- the desk, housekeeping, by the pool. The hotel, all areas around inside and outside were clean and well maintained.
We were disappointed in the area around the pool. It’s looking worn and in need of sprucing up. There were a few areas around the lazy river with slime. That’s unsanitary, I realize it’s the end of the season, but that’s uncalled for.

Our stay was very pleasant. Checkin was a breeze and the person (I can't remember her name) was very welcoming and accommodating.

Security here leans on their own personal prejudices and targets customers who they feel they can pick on. The security on staff singled me out and asked me to provide him my room key before I used the elevator. No other customer was targeted in such a way. I wrote a three thousand word response/explanation to fill in the details as the space is limited here. Bottom line, security needs training on how to treat customers versus real threats to safety. There was no aggression, or misuse of the facilities on my part. No particular reason to be targeted other than my long hair and long beard. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I didnt like the idea that there were no microwaves. The restaurant were good but we were unable to warm leftovers

This was our first family trip since we moved to Louisiana we age from 12 yrs old to 78 and it was plenty of things to do for all of us. Highly recommended ♥️
