There's a coffee shop/cafe on site. A library, barbecue grills, and a garden are also featured at Binna Burra Sky Lodges. Free self parking is available. A complete renovation of Binna Burra Sky Lodges was completed in August 2020.
We came up to this mountain retreat for a little downtime and a bit of hiking. The fresh air, the wonderful views, and the excellently appointed apartment, all contributed to a marvellous three-day holiday.
We had the most relaxing time at the Binna Burra lodge.
Our stay was over new years eve and we had four nights in one of the Sky Lodges (studio). Room was just great with stunning views, and enough facilities for us to cook our own meals (we did some shopping on the way).
The bathroom is great, and we enoyed a big bath (with a view) a couple of times during our stay.
There is a lovely bar (open on Fri/Sat only) and the Teahouse is a good option for dining as well.
The walks are amazing, with an abundance of wildlife and many tracks to chose from.
Only about 1 hr from the Gold Cost, it is very accessible with recent upgrades to the road making it an easy and comfortable drive.
They are currently constructing a new hotel (after the 2019/2020 bushfres), and we will definitely be back to see the result of this new build.
Loved every minute.
Thanks
Amazing view and very close to the trails. Lived in the Sky lodge with kitchen and barbecue on the balcony. Very nice rooms. You can eat in the tea room also.
We absolutely loved our stay at Binna Burra Sky Lodges. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the views are indescribably phenomenal. There are options to dine-out but if you want to cook in the room, there are enough facilities to make easy meals. Highly recommend.
The views are spectacular and the lodges very relaxing and comfortable. Outdoor balcony is a real advantage. Great getaway to watch off and connect with nature. Friendly staff and the welcome drink was a really nice touch!
My wife and I stayed for a weekend, it was perfect. Multiple trail walks within 50m of our accommodation, extremely relaxing. A sky view cafe within walking distance. The most spectacular view you could ask for. I recommend the sky view lodges, they give you a walk about which is great to learn about the history or Binna Burra.
Absolutely amazing place to stay and explore the many walks in the beautiful area. Our room was very basic and quite dated but had an amazing view and ok for 2 nights. We were informed of complimentary morning and afternoon tea and cheese platter on our arrival. By the time we arrived for the cheese platter there was nothing left! I informed duty manager in departure who apologised and said it was meant to be replenished. No big deal for us but it was made out to be a âspecial offerâ !!!
I didn't like the booking from Expedia firstly. I had to pay extra for my accommodation which was a tent very basic, very dirty, and needs to be brought up to a suitable standard like locks on the door. Amenities need updating very run down. I understand they want to protect the environment but if you arrive late there is no shop to buy anything if you want to eat you can utilise the restaurant at the lodge but it is expensive. The whole place needs revamping very tired and rundown.
Even though this is essentially a Heritage site, it could use some much needed upgrades. Overall though, a nice experience. Food severely overpriced and only a buffet dinner option is available (if youâre not that hungry, too bad, it will cost $45/adult)
Loved the scenic location, but was let down by slow service, tired dining room and food that I would expect to be served in a school cafetaria. There are no alternative options for dinner within about 20 minutes drive, which was disappointing considering the price of the sky lodge accommodation.
