The check-in was easy, good instructions. We didn't see any owners, just entered the property and this is it. Convenient. Room is good, big enough, has everything what you need. But I "met" a lot of spiders. And it was dusty. Kettle, in toilet. Maybe because twin-room isn't much popular and there weren't guests for a long time. But overall it was a nice stay.

Good commuincation about how to get in, key safe, etc. There was an odd smell in the ensuite - not sure what was causing it. There was mould on ceiling above shower cubicle. Venue does not have any on-site parking, free parking in streets around venue.

In over 30 years of travelling on business, this is one of the best places I have stayed in.Although I did not meet the owners it was clear that the accommodation was well looked after and virtually everything had been thought of for the comfort of their guests.
Virtually everything was absolutely spotlessly clean.The only small point I noticed was that there was dirt around the toilet seat hinge - a bit of a dirt trap and difficult to access(I'm sounding like a "Four in a Bed" contestant now!).However, I would not hesitate in recommending Bay Lodge to anyone.
