Nice hotel, with very pleasant staff. I had dinner in the evening and it was.
good, simple and well prepared The hotel is showing abit of wear and tear. However, late November in the country side, when it is dark and wet, is never a good time to be at ones best. Good stay and good value for money.

Lovey old building, very pretty courtyard and wonderful lock nearby. Bit scary fire alarm going off at 6 and 8 am . So not the best sleep. Other than that abery enjoyable stay

This was a nice place, but the rooms are quite old and the beds are not that comfortable. It's simple if you stay for a night or two, but I would not recommend more than 3 days. I do think the place can have some fixer upper with some areas like the wall paper in some bedrooms. However, again- it is simply cozy for a few nights and that will do.

An absolute dive, I must have the knack of picking the most grubby run down hotels in the area, bed was sagging, room was dated and dirty, location is miles from anywhere, I complained and was given a slightly better room I was so disappointed I'd booked 2 nights, it was an awful experience, breakfast was decent but tiny and nobody to issue a receipt the on the day of departure, despite being told this would be the case
I would avoid this place at all costs, and its a wedding venue? seriously its a dump, I's be ashamed to offer to contractors let alone business people, and charging full rates for terrible accomodation

A hidden treasure if you are looking for peace

Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HotelsMain purpose of the stay was for business. The location was ideal for work and the venue is in an ideal setting. Staff generally were helpful but appeared sometimes to be stretched too thin . The hotel requires updating and some considerable investment. A bit of care and vision could make it a really great venue considering its location.

It wasnt terrible, however the hotel is tired.
Food was average at best. Breakfast was well below par.
It reminded me of Fawlty Towers. Staff (which was the 1 girl, receptionist, bar, restaurant) was excellent and did her best.
Room was ok, clean and tidy.
Ive paid less for better
