While the staff was excellent, the hotel could use a lot of maintenance attention. Using my 5G LTE was 5 times faster than the hotel's WiFi, the tub stopper would not work, I had to use a bathcloth wrapped around it, the shade on the floor lamp next to the couch would fall off since it was missing its anchor nut. The AC unit in the bedroom was very noisy when the compressor came on. And the worst was how uncomfortable the bed was. I know these things are small things, except the bed and the AC noise, but it did make our stay unpleasent.

The desk staff were excellent. A very convenient location. The hotel itself is showing a lack of proper maintenance. The only chair was uncomfortable. The tub stopper didn’t work. The shade on the floor lamp next to the couch was missing its holder. No bath mat. No regular coffee in the room. Tilt for the TV would have helped for viewing. A very noisy refrigerator. The bed was only comfortable on one side.

Did not have the bed type my reservation specified. Took almost 30 minutes to check in. Travelocity pricing was $25 more than regular room pricing, they accidentally rung me up instead of using my 3rd party reservation. Not happy with the experience.

Fabulous stay

This is one of the best stays I have ever had at a hotel. This was a beautiful place, close to UAB Hospital and Kirklin Clinic. It was reasonably priced for the size, location and cleanliness. It had a kitchen with a microwave, hot plate and full fridge. It was so lovely and the beds were fantastic!

Excellent property and surprisingly modern and spacious rooms. Only thing I would request is for parking to be included free of charge. Parking is $15/night, even though there is street parking that is free from 6pm to 8am just outside the property, which is what I opted for.

It was an okay stay. $50 daily (not $50 for the stay) for incidentals was a shock, the breakfast was alright, and my son was able to eat a few things there so that was important.
