Really old hotel, quaint as you go in through huge wooden doors, quirky floors, uneven and characterful. That’s where the enjoyment ends.
Rooms disgusting, cold and damp smelling. Room 103 bulbs missing from lights, hangers with no rail to hang clothes on. Poor decor that is mismatched, poorly painted.
Room 307, big room, even with the one small electrical heater on, it didn’t heat the room. Noise all night from the front street, might as well not had any windows in a it was that cold and noisy.
The bathroom was utterly disgusting, stuff that I don’t have a clue what it was splattered across the wall, leaking bath and sink, mould all round. Toilet roll holder fitted behind and above the cistern.
Cobwebs and dust everywhere. If this place was on 4 in a bed, they would be paying the guests to stay.
