The property in it self is OK but definately in need of refurbishment. Only bad word is we arrived late on the Friday and the reception staff were un helpful and basically handed us the door key and turned her back and went in her office. Not to happy on that one

We LOVE staying at this hotel. The staff are all amazing- from the hospitality to the fitness team. Everybody is so friendly and welcoming and the hotel is clean with a lively homely feel. The gym and pool area are great too, and we will definitely be returning. Big shout out to Nathan who is so helpful and a genuinely lovely member of the team.

Dont stay on the 1st floor! The noise is too muc
Hotel was decent. But alas our stay was horrific. The windows dont cancel any sound and theur were cars dijng donuts outside until 3am. There was a party on at the hotel which went on until 1am so again we couldnt sleep due to the bass coming through from that (avoid the first floor!). Thirdly, and no fault of the hotels but again in the floor above us there was a rampant bable elephant rearanging its room until 1am. Thay was the last straw and called the reception. The said they would check but it didnt stop the noise. Would have beed a great stay if we could have slept. My girlfriend had to work in the AM so was worse for her.

Nice hotel, but…..
Pleasant Hotel, Room was very cold on arrival and it was a couple of hours til I could take my coat off. As a vegetarian, the menu doesn’t have the biggest choice, (two items) and the Veggie burger wasn’t available. So it was onion rings ans chips for dinner. There was no hot water for a shower in the morning.

Great evening, but more bar staff needed
We were a group of friends for the festive party. The Village would have known how many people were booked in, yet only 2 bar staff were allocated to the bar. We had to keep leaving the room to get drinks from the main bar. Why not just put more staff on? The breakfast options were good, BUT when asked where to put some recycled items, we were told to put it in the bin. How is that eco-friendly?

Don't bother, not worth the money
2nd visit, allbeit 10years later. Price paid not worth it, 10years ago was amazing, this stay was pathetic, massive disappointment. Not a 4star hotel anymore. Sure it's mostly disabled friendly, but check in, touch screens too high up on desk, as in wheelchair, couldn't see screen properly, reception lady had to partly lean across me to do it. There were xmas parties on, which to some extent you can understand, but not to the detriment of serving food or drink to ordinary guests who's paying a fair bit for B&B. Asked at check-in, can we order food and drink, she said yes, but to order at bar and take to room ourselves order order later, bar options only snacks at best, couldn't even get a hot drink. Arrival in room, difficult to find what switches were for which lights, especially bathroom one, most obscure place, not disabled friendly or generally sensible, some lights didn't work, only one dimmer switch worked and linked lights dimming to different levels. Bathroom smelled moldy, toilet & basin too close, very difficult to get onto toilet, toilet lid pushed against flush button, room & bathroom freezing, struggled to get heating setting to work. Around 8pm we wanted to phone room service, only to find, no phone, everything works with QR code - discriminating to non-smartphone users. Finally got room service app, about to pay, but then it wouldn't work, then it said, no "days available"... alot more wrong, but not enough characters allowed. Only bed was comfortable.
