Publié le 1 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe love this little cabin. It's a must visit for us every fall. The view is gorgeous and the cabin has everything we want or need. It's clean, private, well-equipped and close to downtown. Black Mountain is a charming town and worth a visit. Our favorite restaurant is Black Mountain Bistro. Please patronize these small businesses. You won't be disappointed. They are still recovering from Hurricane Helene.

Beautiful Cabin in the Clouds
Publié le 1 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cabin is a perfect, cozy get-away. The sunsets are beautiful. The cabin is tucked up on the mountainside, but Black Mountain and Montreat are so close. The history of the cabin and the area is so interesting. We enjoyed our stay!

Hidden Gem

It is well equipped, updated and clean. The cabin is an easy drive to the quaint downtown of Black Mountain. And the view is fabulous! You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

I'm 71 and I have no problem using the cabin. We rent to people all the time in their 70's and 80's without any issues. These guests knew Cabin in the Clouds is a cabin on the side of a mountain, they also knew they had physical infirmities that would cause them problems. They did not relay they physical issues to us when making the reservation. My suggestion 1) evaluate your situation 2) try making wise decisions based on what you are capable of actually going. By the way we did give them a partial refund even though we were not required to do that.

Publié le 3 août 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed for week during Swanannoa Gathering and it was the perfect spot. Kitchen well appointed, super comfortable bed and LR furnishings. View is even better than the photos and outdoor furniture is fully padded and comfortable. Parking is tight, but manageable even with my larger vehicle. I would definitely re-book this cabin. Kevin

We found great hikes close by and delicious places to eat in the town of black mountain, just 10 minutes from the cabin.

This cabin is so perfect and romantic. Beautiful fireplace and wood paneling and ceilings. The pictures don’t do it justice. So much better in person. It is perfectly appointed with everything you could ever need. The Mountain Views are incredible!! I would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful anniversary trip!
Publié le 8 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time at Cabin in the clouds. The view is spectacular and can be enjoyed from inside (through the wall of windows) and outside on the porch. Its just a 15 minute drive to pretty much anywhere in Black Mountain/Montreat. Once we figured out all the road names, it was easy to get up and down the mountain. The place was very clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed watching movies on the blu-ray player, thank you! We will definitely return!
