Wonderful house for our family(10) vacation!

This house was perfect for our family of brothers, sisters, cousins & parents to get together and enjoy the Asheville area. The house slept all of us comfortably and the amenities for outstanding. A beautiful deck for early morning coffees and late afternoon relaxing. I would surely consider staying here again.

Fantastic Black Mountain cabin

We had plenty of space for our group of seven adults each sleeping in their own bed. This house would work great for a couple of families - 3 comfortable king/queen suites plus 2 nice bunk room suites for lots of kids. Lots of sitting and gathering areas inside and out. The location is great. It is very convenient to the town of Black Mountain, but you are essentially on a private, quiet sub-peak of the mountain looking over the valley from the back deck. Hoping to come back for a vacation with my family soon!

Family Vacation
Publié le 28 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayOur 2 families of 5 had a wonderful stay. The lodge is spacious, we were all able to find our own space! The kids slept in the basement and enjoyed the air hockey and the hot tub. One family slept on the main floor. The other family slept on the second floor. We cooked and ate at the lodge and also out at restaurants. It was convenient having an Ingles at the bottom of the mountain. Thank you for sharing your lodge with us.

Publié le 30 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayPlace was amazing! Location was perfect. My husband saw a bear in the driveway! That was very cool. House was very clean! There were only a couple things we did not like. There is no fire pit or bonfire area. They said it’s a community ordinance. A cabin in the mountains….. that is a must! The listing needs to say that. The kitchen needs different pots and frying pans and definitely a griddle. We had a heck of a time trying to make breakfast every day while we were there. The pans are terrible. And you definitely need more than 1 hand towel and dish cloths. Overall, place was great location was perfect.

Thank you for your feedback, as owners we are always looking to provide the best experiences for our guests. It makes us very happy that you and your family enjoyed the property and your time together. We are making some changes and additions to the kitchen supplies in response to your great suggestion of adding a griddle and replacing necessary pots and pans. In reference to the outside firepit - because the property sits up on that beautiful knoll we have to be extremely careful with outdoor open fires. Not all of our guests have experience with outdoor fire safety and the safety of our guests and the mountains around the property are of utmost concern. We are exploring safe options. We do hope you enjoyed both the convenience and beauty of the indoor gas fireplace and the ambiance of the wood-burning fire place on the lower level. Thank you again for your review and we're glad you enjoyed our great location!
