The Space:
Black Mountain has a rich history of arts, crafts, and music. Garden & Gun says Black Mountain is a tiny town that "boasts a serious arts pedigree." This quaint mountain escape boasts over 200 businesses, including breweries, specialty shops, artisan workshops, and restaurants. Our family-sized home has every amenity to make your stay in Black Mountain comfortable and memorable, with plenty of fenced-in outdoor space to take in the scenery and a playroom to fill your stay with family fun!
With a full-size kitchen, 3 bedrooms, full-size dining, comfortable living, and a playroom, our home will suit travelers of every age, no matter your travel plans or pace. New climate controls and other recent updates to the property provide comfort and peace of mind. Reliable Wi-Fi and a lit private parking area assure you that your stay in the mountains will be restful and safe. Guests have the entire property to themselves to enjoy and relax.
Located just two blocks away from our home, Lake Tomahawk Park offers gorgeous lake views year-round, an exciting playground, scenic walking path, fishing, games, and a seasonal public pool.
While you visit, be sure to explore Black Mountain’s gift shops, specializing in hand-crafted artisan wares, spend some time at one of Black Mountain’s 35 restaurants, or sample a beer or spirits at a local brewery, some within walking distance of the property. We recommend starting your vacation off with a walk to the Blue Ridge Biscuit Company or the Dripolater Coffee Shop.
Just a short drive from our home in Black Mountain Golf Course, which offers a superb 18-hole course marked by the regions’ natural beauty.
Be sure to explore the region’s other sights while you’re here. Only two miles away is Montreat, the former home of the Rev. Billy Graham. Hiking and Biking trails abound around Black Mountain. The Swannanoa Valley Museum features “Rim Hikes” of both moderate and difficult levels.
The Blue Ridge Parkway, found just 9 miles west along Highway 70, is the most visited scenic highway in America. The Biltmore House is just a short 15-minute drive, along with the best Asheville has to offer.
